भारतीय स्वतंत्रता संग्राम के अमर नायक नेताजी सुभाष चंद्र बोस के जन्म जयंती के अवसर पर 23 जनवरी के शाम को बंगाली एसोसिएशन हजारीबाग तथा स्थानीय यूनियन क्लब एवं लाइब्रेरी के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में एक कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया । केशब हाल मे आयोजित कार्यक्रम की व्यवस्था नेताजी जयंती समिति के देखरेख में की गई।
इस अवसर पर सभा को संबोधित करते हुए प्रोफेसर सजल मुखर्जी ने नेताजी के जीवन यात्रा और विचार यात्रा पर प्रकाश डालें। उन्होंने नेताजी के हजारीबाग आगमन से संबंधित महत्वपूर्ण जानकारी भी साझा किया।
नेताजी जयंती समिति के अध्यक्ष श्री उज्जल आयकत, सचिव श्री सोमनाथ कुनार के साथ डॉ सजल मुखर्जी, श्री शंकर बनर्जी, श्रीमती स्मिता मुखर्जी, श्रीमती रूपा चटर्जी एवं श्री मनोज सेन ने मंगलद्वीप प्रज्वलित कर कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ किया। इसके बाद नेताजी के चित्र पर नेताजी जयंती समिति के श्री सागरमय सरकार एवं अन्य के द्वारा माल्यार्पण तथा पुष्पार्पण किया गया।
श्रीमती डोला गुहा, श्रीमती मधुच्छंदा मुखर्जी, श्रीमती सोनाली भट्टाचार्जी, श्रीमती सोमा सेन, श्रीमती सुपर्णा सरकार एवं श्री प्रीतम चक्रवर्ती ने एक समूह गान प्रस्तुत किया। मोनवीया डांस स्कूल की अंजलि, हर्षिता, अवनी, राशि, आराध्या तथा रुचि ने श्रुति मजूमदार के निर्देशन में एक समूह नृत्य प्रस्तुत कर सबका दिल जीत लिया।
एकल गायन में श्रीमती मधुच्छंदा मुखर्जी एवं श्रीमती मौमिता गांगुली ने नेताजी के प्रिय दो अलग-अलग देशभक्ति गीत प्रस्तुत कर सबको मोहित कर दिया। श्रीमती पुतुल घोष की कविता पाठ ने सबको भाव विभोर कर दिया
इस अवसर पर श्रीमती गार्गी मल्लिक के निर्देशन में नन्हे मुन्ने कलाकारों के द्वारा एक समूह नृत्य की प्रस्तुति की गई। इसमें अतृति पांजा, आद्रिका दास गोस्वामी, शान सेन, प्रथम गुप्ता, समृद्धि सहाय, समृद्धि गुप्ता, सुभोश्री बनर्जी, राही तथा अधृत मल्लिक की प्रस्तुति ने खूब तालियां बटोरी।
कार्यक्रम का संचालन प्रीतम चक्रवर्ती, स्वागत संबोधन उज्जवल आयकत तथा धन्यवाद ज्ञापन श्री शंकर बनर्जी के द्वारा किया गया। मौके पर अच्छी संख्या में लोग नेताजी को श्रद्धा अर्पित करने पहुंचे।
