Republic Day Celebration Enthralls Community at Root Rider Children School

Chatakpur, January 26, 2025 – Root Rider Children School organized a vibrant Republic Day celebration that brought together students, teachers, parents, and community members in a patriotic display of unity and cultural pride.

The event commenced at 9:00 AM with a prabhat pheri (morning procession) led by students, spreading the message of patriotism through the streets of Chatakpur. The procession garnered widespread attention and set the tone for the day’s festivities.

At 10:30 AM, the National Flag was ceremoniously hoisted in the school premises by the Honorable Mukhiya of Chatakpur Panchayat, Mr. Vicky Lohar, followed by a salute and a march-past by the students.

The cultural program, which began shortly thereafter, was inaugurated by Mr. Jyoti Matharu, Vice Chairman of the Jharkhand Minority Commission, who lit the ceremonial lamp. In his address, Mr. Matharu lauded the school’s efforts in fostering education and community development in the rural region. “Root Rider Children School plays a vital role in uplifting children from underprivileged backgrounds. The enthusiasm and talent displayed today remind me of my own childhood,” he remarked.

Dazzling Performances and Recognitions
Students captivated the audience with enthralling performances, ranging from patriotic dances to skits. A notable highlight of the program was the felicitation of students who secured the top three positions in various academic and extracurricular activities. Awards were presented by Mr. Jyoti Matharu, Mukhiya Mr. Vicky Lohar, and Gram Pradhan Mr. Chhavi Pradhan, encouraging young achievers to continue striving for excellence.

Teachers were also honored for their dedication, with the school management recognizing their efforts to shape young minds. A special announcement was made during the event, appointing Ms. Pooja Kumari, the school’s senior-most teacher, as the Vice Principal.

Community Collaboration and Support
The event drew significant community participation, with notable attendees including Panchayat Committee Member Mr. Rakesh Kumar, Ward Councillor Mr. Santosh Sharma, and several social workers from Chatakpur. Mukhiya Mr. Vicky Lohar expressed admiration for the school, highlighting its scout-based educational approach and its commitment to delivering quality education under the guidance of the All India Boy Scouts Association.

Adding to the celebratory spirit, cash prizes were announced for students by the Mukhiya and the Panchayat Committee, further motivating the young participants.

Acknowledgments and Gratitude
The program’s success was attributed to the combined efforts of teachers, students, and local social workers. The school’s Coordinator, Mr. Uday Kumar, served as the program’s emcee, while Principal Mr. Jaiprakash Sharma delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks.

Root Rider Children School, operated under the Shri Vishwakarma Welfare Society, continues to make significant strides in providing holistic education to rural children, leaving a lasting impact on the community.
