गुमला पुलिस ने अंतरराज्यीय बाइक चोर गिरोह का किया भंडाफोड़, तीन आरोपी गिरफ्तार

गुमला: पुलिस ने एक अंतरराज्यीय मोटरसाइकिल चोरी गिरोह के तीन सदस्यों को गिरफ्तार कर चोरी की चार मोटरसाइकिल बरामद की हैं। गिरफ्तार किए गए आरोपियों को पूछताछ के बाद न्यायालय में पेश कर गुमला जेल भेज दिया गया है।

गुप्त सूचना पर हुई कार्रवाई

गुमला पुलिस कप्तान शंभू कुमार सिंह को गुप्त सूचना मिली थी कि जशपुर (छत्तीसगढ़) से दो युवक बिना नंबर प्लेट की दो मोटरसाइकिल चोरी कर गुमला (झारखंड) की ओर भाग रहे हैं। सूचना मिलते ही उन्होंने एक विशेष छापामारी दल का गठन किया।

इस दल में रायडीह थाना प्रभारी कुंदन कुमार सिंह, पुलिस उपनिरीक्षक विनय कुमार साव, रविदास, गनौरी प्रसाद और सशस्त्र बल (सेट-11) के जवान शामिल थे। अधिकारियों को बॉर्डर क्षेत्र में चौकसी बढ़ाने और आवश्यक कार्रवाई के निर्देश दिए गए।

पुलिस ने घेराबंदी कर पकड़ा

छापामारी दल ने रायडीह थाना क्षेत्र के डूमर टोली में चेकिंग अभियान चलाया। इसी दौरान दो मोटरसाइकिल पर सवार दो युवक पुलिस को देखकर भागने लगे। संदेह होने पर जवानों ने उन्हें घेरकर दबोच लिया और दोनों मोटरसाइकिल जब्त कर उन्हें हिरासत में लिया।

पूछताछ में पकड़े गए युवकों की पहचान सिसई-पुसो थाना क्षेत्र के निवासी ओम प्रकाश महतो और पवन महतो (पिता – कृष्णा महतो) के रूप में हुई। जब पुलिस ने दस्तावेज मांगे तो उन्होंने स्वीकार किया कि ये चोरी की मोटरसाइकिल हैं और उनमें से एक बाइक उसी दिन जशपुर से चोरी की गई थी।

चोरी की गई चार मोटरसाइकिल बरामद

आरोपियों की निशानदेही पर पुलिस ने गुमला और सिमडेगा से चोरी की गई दो अन्य मोटरसाइकिल भी बरामद की। जब्त किए गए वाहनों में शामिल हैं:

1. सीडी डीलक्स (बिना नंबर प्लेट)
2. सुपर स्प्लेंडर (नंबर JH-01DN-5511)
3. टीवीएस अपाचे (बिना नंबर प्लेट)
4. डिस्कवर (बिना नंबर प्लेट)

गिरोह के तीसरे सदस्य की भी गिरफ्तारी

आगे की छानबीन में पुलिस ने गिरोह के एक अन्य सदस्य शंस महतो को भी गिरफ्तार किया। जांच में यह भी सामने आया कि ओम प्रकाश महतो और शंस महतो के खिलाफ पहले से चोरी और लूटपाट के कई मामले दर्ज हैं।

अपराधियों को जेल भेजा गया

पूछताछ के बाद गुमला पुलिस ने तीनों आरोपियों को न्यायालय में पेश कर गुमला जेल भेज दिया। पुलिस मामले की आगे जांच कर रही है और गिरोह के अन्य सदस्यों की तलाश में छापेमारी जारी है।
