New Delhi, February 7, 2025 — Delhi awaits the official results of the 2025 Assembly elections, early projections indicate a significant victory for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), led by Arvind Kejriwal. polls suggest that AAP is poised to win more than 50 out of the 70 seats, while the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is expected to secure between 10 to 15 seats. Ifse predictions hold true, it would mark a third consecutive term for Kejriwal as Chief Minister.
AAPaicipated success is largely attributed to its robust support among the poor and middle-class voters. Exit polls, such as thoonducted by Axis My India, have projected a clear advantage for AAP, with the party expected to secure a substantial majority in the assembly.
It’s important to note that while exit polls provide an early indication of electoral outcomes, they are not always accurate. The final results, scheduled to be announced on February 8, will provide a definieicture of the political landscape in Delhi. However, if the projections hold true, Arvind Kejriwal’s AAP will continue to steer Delhi’s governance, bolstered by a mandate that underscores the electorate’s endorsement of its welfare policies and anti-corruption agenda.
