कीट विश्वविद्यालय भुवनेश्वर ने पूर्वी क्षेत्र अंतर-विश्वविद्यालय महिला खो-खो प्रतियोगिता का खिताब जीता

यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ बर्दवान बनी उपविजेता, उत्कल और हेमचंद यादव विश्वविद्यालय ने हासिल किया क्रमशः तीसरा और चौथा स्थान

विनोबा भावे विश्वविद्यालय, हजारीबाग के तत्वावधान में आयोजित पूर्वी क्षेत्र अंतर-विश्वविद्यालय महिला खो-खो प्रतियोगिता में कीट विश्वविद्यालय, भुवनेश्वर ने शानदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए चैंपियनशिप का खिताब अपने नाम कर लिया। प्रतियोगिता में यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ बर्दवान, पश्चिम बंगाल उपविजेता बनी, जबकि उत्कल विश्वविद्यालय, भुवनेश्वर और हेमचंद यादव विश्वविद्यालय, दुर्ग क्रमशः तीसरे और चौथे स्थान पर रहे।

कड़ी प्रतिस्पर्धा के बाद कीट विश्वविद्यालय ने मारी बाजी

तीन दिवसीय इस टूर्नामेंट में भारतीय विश्वविद्यालय संघ (AIU) के नियमों के तहत मुकाबले पहले नॉकआउट और फिर लीग चरण में आयोजित किए गए। चारों सेमीफाइनलिस्ट टीमों ने अपने-अपने ग्रुप में जीत हासिल कर लीग मुकाबलों में प्रवेश किया।

प्रतियोगिता के अंतिम दिन, 8 फरवरी, सभी टीमों के बीच कुल छह मुकाबले खेले गए। कीट विश्वविद्यालय ने अपने सभी तीन मैच जीतकर खिताब पर कब्जा जमाया, जबकि यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ बर्दवान ने दो जीत के साथ उपविजेता का स्थान हासिल किया। उत्कल विश्वविद्यालय को एक जीत के साथ तीसरा स्थान मिला, जबकि हेमचंद यादव विश्वविद्यालय, दुर्ग तीनों मुकाबले हारकर चौथे स्थान पर रहा।

विजेताओं को किया गया सम्मानित

समापन समारोह में मुख्य अतिथि, आईजी पंकज कंबोज, कुलपति प्रोफेसर पवन कुमार पोद्दार, और विशिष्ट अतिथि एनटीपीसी पंखरी बरवाडीह के महाप्रबंधक फैज तैयब ने विजेता टीमों को ट्रॉफी प्रदान की। सभी खिलाड़ियों को मेडल देकर सम्मानित किया गया।

सर्वश्रेष्ठ खिलाड़ियों को मिला विशेष पुरस्कार

• सर्वश्रेष्ठ खिलाड़ी का पुरस्कार कीट विश्वविद्यालय की पूजा अर्चना माझी को दिया गया।
• सर्वश्रेष्ठ आक्रांता (अटैकर) का खिताब यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ बर्दवान की सुष्मिता दास को मिला।
• सर्वश्रेष्ठ रक्षक (डिफेंडर) का पुरस्कार कीट विश्वविद्यालय के कप्तान मगई माझी को दिया गया।

सम्मान समारोह और विशेष घोषणाएं

समापन समारोह की शुरुआत आयोजन सचिव एवं खेल निदेशक डॉ. रखो हरि द्वारा प्रतियोगिता की संपूर्ण रिपोर्ट प्रस्तुत करने से हुई। डॉ. सुबोध कुमार सिंह, नीरज डांग, जॉनी रुफिना तिर्की, मृत्युंजय प्रसाद और शोधार्थी पुष्कर ने रोचक अंदाज में कार्यक्रम का संचालन किया।

छात्र कल्याण संकाय अध्यक्ष डॉ. विकास कुमार ने धन्यवाद ज्ञापित किया। अंत में राष्ट्रीय ध्वज, भारतीय विश्वविद्यालय संघ का ध्वज और विश्वविद्यालय ध्वज का अवरोहण किया गया।

एनटीपीसी सम्मानित करेगा विनोबा भावे विश्वविद्यालय की टीम

हालांकि मेजबान विनोबा भावे विश्वविद्यालय पांचवें स्थान पर रहा, लेकिन उनके शानदार खेल को देखते हुए एनटीपीसी पंखरी बरवाडीह के महाप्रबंधक फैज तैयब ने टीम के सभी खिलाड़ियों को विशेष रूप से सम्मानित करने की घोषणा की। उन्होंने कहा, “टीम ने बेहतरीन खेल दिखाया, और खिलाड़ियों की मेहनत को पहचान मिलनी चाहिए।”

खिलाड़ियों की कड़ी मेहनत का मिला परिणाम: आईजी पंकज कंबोज

मुख्य अतिथि आईजी पंकज कंबोज ने कहा, “यह खेल केवल गति और फिटनेस ही नहीं, बल्कि मानसिक और शारीरिक क्षमता की भी परीक्षा लेता है। यह देखकर खुशी हो रही है कि ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों की लड़कियां इतनी ऊंचाई तक पहुंच रही हैं। इस प्रतियोगिता के उच्च स्तर का प्रमाण यह है कि इसमें राष्ट्रीय स्तर के खिलाड़ी भी भाग ले रहे हैं।”

उन्होंने सभी विजेता टीमों को बधाई दी और उन्हें राष्ट्रीय स्तर की प्रतियोगिता में और भी बेहतर प्रदर्शन करने के लिए शुभकामनाएं दीं।
