झारखंड स्काउटिंग को समर्पित एक युग का अंत: ओम प्रकाश मिश्रा को श्रद्धांजलि, स्काउट झंडा झुकाकर दी अंतिम विदाई

रांची, 8 अप्रैल 2025 — ऑल इंडिया बॉय स्काउट एसोसिएशन, झारखंड स्टेट ब्रांच की ओर से आज चटकपुर स्थित रूट राइडर चिल्ड्रन स्कूल के प्रांगण में संस्था के पूर्व जनरल सेक्रेटरी ओम प्रकाश मिश्रा के निधन पर भावपूर्ण श्रद्धांजलि सभा का आयोजन किया गया। मिश्रा जी का निधन 27 मार्च 2025 को हुआ था। वे झारखंड में स्काउटिंग गतिविधियों के प्रमुख स्तंभ माने जाते थे।

इस मौके पर विद्यालय के स्काउट छात्रों ने मिश्रा जी के चित्र पर पुष्प अर्पित कर उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि दी और उनके दिखाए मार्ग पर चलने की शपथ ली। विद्यालय में शोक के प्रतीकस्वरूप स्काउट झंडा आधा झुका दिया गया।

कार्यक्रम में राज्य सचिव विक्रांत विश्वकर्मा, विद्यालय के प्रधानाध्यापक जयप्रकाश शर्मा, शिक्षिकाएं लक्ष्मी कुमारी, किरण कुमारी, चांद कुमारी, सुप्रिया कुमारी और लक्ष्मी गुप्ता सहित विद्यालय के शिक्षक और छात्र बड़ी संख्या में उपस्थित रहे।

राज्य सचिव विक्रांत विश्वकर्मा ने श्रद्धांजलि सभा को संबोधित करते हुए कहा, “ओम प्रकाश मिश्रा जी ने झारखंड में स्काउट गतिविधियों को जीवंत बनाया। उनके मार्गदर्शन में तीन राज्य स्तरीय ट्रेनिंग कॉन्फ्रेंस आयोजित किए गए और रांची में कई राष्ट्रीय स्तर के स्काउट कैंप्स का सफल संचालन किया गया।” उन्होंने यह भी जोड़ा कि मिश्रा जी के नेतृत्व में बच्चों को न केवल शारीरिक रूप से बल्कि मानसिक रूप से भी सशक्त बनने का अवसर मिला।

झारखंड स्काउट कमिश्नर अरविंद कुमार लाल ने मिश्रा जी के निधन पर गहरा शोक व्यक्त करते हुए कहा, “मिश्रा जी ने स्काउटिंग को आगे ले जाने में हमेशा राज्य के साथ समन्वय बनाए रखा। उनकी कमी को कभी पूरा नहीं किया जा सकेगा।”

ओम प्रकाश मिश्रा: जीवन और योगदान
मिश्रा जी का जन्म 9 जून 1927 को हुआ था। अपने लंबे जीवन में उन्होंने स्काउटिंग के क्षेत्र में अनुकरणीय योगदान दिया और कई पीढ़ियों को नेतृत्व, सेवा और अनुशासन का पाठ पढ़ाया। उनका कार्यकाल झारखंड में स्काउटिंग के स्वर्णिम काल के रूप में याद किया जाएगा।

झारखंड की स्काउटिंग बिरादरी ने आज एक प्रेरणास्त्रोत, मार्गदर्शक और समर्पित नेता को खो दिया है। सभा के अंत में दो मिनट का मौन रखकर दिवंगत आत्मा की शांति हेतु प्रार्थना की गई।
