रांची : दी अखिल भारतीय विश्वकर्मा महासभा के तत्वावधान में राजधानी रांची के न्यू मार्केट, रातू रोड में भारत के पूर्व राष्ट्रपति ज्ञानी जैल सिंह जी की जयंती मनायी गई. इस अवसर पर एक सादे समारोह में दी अखिल भारतीय विश्वकर्मा महासभा के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष डॉ. दिलीप सोनी ने कहा कि ज्ञानी जी पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री, भारत के गृहमंत्री और देश राष्ट्रपति बनकर देश की सेवा की।

भारत की आजादी में ज्ञानी जी का महत्वपूर्ण योगदान था। यह विश्वकर्मा परिवार में जन्म लेकर सर्वोच्च पद को हासिल किया जो विश्वकर्मा समाज के लिए गौरव की बात है. आज उनकी जयंती के अवसर पर हम सभी उनका नमन करते हैं और उनके बताए हुए मार्गों पर चलने की संकल्प लेते हैं.

ज्ञानी जी अत्यंत विनम्र और सरल स्वभाव के व्यक्ति थे : विक्रांत विश्वकर्मा

महासभा के प्रधान महासचिव विक्रांत विश्वकर्मा ने कहा कि ज्ञानी जी भारत के सातवें राष्ट्रपति बने. वे भारत के एक प्रमुख राजनेता थे, जिन्होंने भारतीय राजनीति में कई महत्वपूर्ण पदों पर कार्य किया उनका जीवन और कार्य विशेष रूप से भारतीय इतिहास में एक महत्वपूर्ण स्थान रखता है। ज्ञानी जी अत्यंत विनम्र और सरल स्वभाव के व्यक्ति माने जाते थे।

उन्होंने सिखों के धार्मिक ग्रंथ को ज्ञान अर्जित करने के कारण उनका ज्ञानी शब्द की उपाधि मिली थी. ज्ञानी जैल सिंह जी का जन्म एक साधारण बढ़ई परिवार में हुआ था। ज्ञानी जी को आज पूरा देश याद कर रहा है। कार्यक्रम का धन्यवाद ज्ञापन विद्यानंद विद्यार्थी ने किया।

इस अवसर पर महासभा के कार्यकारी अध्यक्ष दिनेश प्रजापति और वरीय उपाध्यक्ष  राकेश शर्मा, जिले के उपाध्यक्ष अरुण शर्मा, विद्यानंद विद्यार्थी, रमेश शर्मा, सूरज कुमार सहित अन्य लोग उपस्थित हुए और ज्ञानी जी की तस्वीर पर पुष्प अर्पित कर उन्हें याद किया।
