गुमला के औरापाठ की बदलती तस्वीर: अब हर घर तक पहुँचा नल से जल

गुमला के PVTG समुदाय को स्वच्छ जल उपलब्ध कराने की दिशा में उपायुक्त गुमला कर्ण सत्यार्थी की पहल, पीएम जनमन योजना के तहत जल जीवन मिशन से गाँव में आया सकारात्मक बदलाव

गुमला : – गुमला जिला अंतर्गत डुमरी प्रखंड के दूरस्थ उरनी पंचायत स्थित औरापाठ गाँव तक पहुँचने के लिए घने जंगल और पहाड़ी रास्तों को पार करना होता है। यह गाँव करीब 95 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर जिला मुख्यालय से स्थित है। यहाँ कुल 62 घर हैं, जिनमें 42 घर कोरवा समुदाय के हैं — एक ऐसा समुदाय जिसे भारत सरकार ने अति पिछड़ा जनजातीय समूह (PVTG) के रूप में चिन्हित किया है।

वर्षों से यह समुदाय पानी की विकट समस्या से जूझता रहा। पीने के लिए ग्रामीणों को प्राकृतिक स्रोतों जैसे गढ़ा और चुआंवा पर निर्भर रहना पड़ता था, जो न तो सुरक्षित थे और न ही पर्याप्त। इन स्रोतों का जल अधिकतर प्रदूषित होता था, जिससे डायरिया, पीलिया और पेट की बीमारियाँ आम बात थी। महिलाओं को दिन में कई बार पहाड़ियों से नीचे उतरकर कई किलोमीटर दूर का सफर तय कर पानी लाने जाना पड़ता था। यह कार्य न केवल समय लेने वाला था, बल्कि जोखिम भरा भी।

उपायुक्त गुमला कर्ण सत्यार्थी के नेतृत्व में जिला प्रशासन ने औरापाठ को प्रधानमंत्री जनजातीय न्याय महाभियान (PM-JANMAN) अंतर्गत जल जीवन मिशन के तहत प्राथमिकता सूची में शामिल किया और जल जीवन मिशन के तहत ग्रामीण विकास विभाग एवं पेयजल एवं स्वच्छता विभाग की संयुक्त पहल से गाँव को घर-घर नल जल कनेक्शन देने की योजना पर तेज़ी से कार्य प्रारंभ हुआ।

महज तीन महीने के भीतर हर घर तक नल से जल पहुँच गया। सौर ऊर्जा आधारित चार मिनी जलापूर्ति यूनिट लगाए गए ताकि बिजली की निर्भरता न हो और जल आपूर्ति सतत रूप से जारी रहे। आंगनबाड़ी केंद्रों और सार्वजनिक स्थलों पर भी स्वच्छ जल की सुविधा उपलब्ध कराई गई।

ग्राम प्रधान डेविड मांझी के सहयोग से नियमित निगरानी की व्यवस्था भी सुनिश्चित की गई है।

इस पहल से सबसे बड़ा असर स्वास्थ्य पर पड़ा। अब ग्रामीणों को साफ पीने का पानी मिल रहा है, जिससे जलजनित बीमारियों में उल्लेखनीय कमी आई है। बच्चों और गर्भवती महिलाओं को विशेष लाभ हुआ है, जिनके लिए असुरक्षित जल पहले गंभीर खतरा बन चुका था।

ग्रामीण महिला बारसू कोरवाइन और पंकज कोरवाइन बताती हैं कि पहले पानी के लिए चार से पाँच घंटे लग जाते थे। अब जब घर में ही नल से पानी मिल रहा है, तो उन्हें बच्चों की देखभाल, खेती बाड़ी और अन्य कामों के लिए अधिक समय मिल पा रहा है। यह न सिर्फ सुविधा की बात है, बल्कि आत्मसम्मान की अनुभूति भी है।

गाँव के निवासी बिनोद कोरवा, जहरी कोरवाइन और जुगु कोरवा जिला प्रशासन और सरकार के प्रति आभार व्यक्त करते हैं। पानी कोरवाइन कहती हैं कि साफ पानी मिलने से न केवल बीमारियाँ कम हुई हैं, बल्कि महिलाओं की गरिमा भी सुरक्षित हुई है।

औरापाठ गाँव की यह कहानी न केवल विकास की एक ऐसी कहानी है जो यह दर्शाती है कि जब योजनाएँ समुदाय की ज़रूरतों के अनुरूप बनती और क्रियान्वित होती हैं, तो बदलाव संभव है।
