हजारीबाग केंद्रीय कारा में ‘होप बीट बैंड’ की शुरुआत, न्यायिक अधिकारियों ने बंदियों से की सीधी बातचीत

हजारीबाग, झारखंड | जयप्रकाश नारायण केंद्रीय कारा, हजारीबाग में शनिवार को ‘होप बीट बैंड’ का शुभारंभ किया गया। इस पहल का मकसद जेल में बंदियों के मनोरंजन, मानसिक स्वास्थ्य और कौशल विकास को बढ़ावा देना है। कार्यक्रम का उद्घाटन प्रधान जिला एवं सत्र न्यायाधीश रंजीत कुमार ने किया।

इस संगीत बैंड में ड्रम सेट, गिटार, तबला, नाल, पियानो, हारमोनियम और बांसुरी जैसे वाद्य यंत्र शामिल किए गए हैं। शुभारंभ अवसर पर बंदियों द्वारा सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम की प्रस्तुति दी गई, जिसे न्यायाधीश ने सराहा और बंदियों का उत्साहवर्धन किया। इसके साथ ही पुरुष और महिला बंदियों तथा उनके साथ रह रहे बच्चों को वॉलीबॉल, बैडमिंटन, चेस और लूडो जैसी खेल सामग्रियां भी वितरित की गईं, ताकि आपसी सहयोग और सकारात्मक सोच को बढ़ावा मिल सके।

जिला विधिक सेवा प्राधिकार (डालसा) के तत्वावधान में चल रहे एक विशेष अभियान के तहत, 12 मई से न्यायिक अधिकारियों की टीम लगातार कारा में बंदियों से सीधी बातचीत कर रही है, जिससे उनकी न्यायिक समस्याओं और मुकदमों की स्थिति के बारे में उन्हें जानकारी दी जा सके। इसी कड़ी में शनिवार को प्रधान जिला एवं सत्र न्यायाधीश रंजीत कुमार ने स्वयं सभी वार्डों का दौरा कर बंदियों से मुलाकात की और उनकी समस्याएं सुनीं।

डालसा सचिव गौरव खुराना ने बताया कि इस पहल का उद्देश्य बंदियों को न्याय से संबंधित मूलभूत अधिकारों जैसे कि कानूनी सहायता, मुकदमे की अद्यतन स्थिति और त्वरित सुनवाई जैसी सुविधाओं से जोड़ना है। उन्होंने बताया कि एलएडीसीए (LADCA) की टीम के साथ मिलकर वे 12 मई से अब तक 570 बंदियों से बातचीत कर चुके हैं और यह प्रक्रिया अभी भी जारी है।

कार्यक्रम के दौरान यह भी बताया गया कि जिन बंदियों के परिवारों को सामाजिक और आर्थिक कठिनाइयों का सामना करना पड़ रहा है, उनके लिए राष्ट्रीय विधिक सेवा प्राधिकार (NALSA) की विभिन्न योजनाओं के तहत सहायता मुहैया कराई जा रही है।

शनिवार को कारा दौरे के दौरान न्यायाधीश रंजीत कुमार के साथ मौजूद टीम में डालसा सचिव गौरव खुराना, सिविल कोर्ट के निबंधक दिव्यम चौधरी, न्यायिक दंडाधिकारी सुमंत दीक्षित, अभिनव कुमार और हेमंत कुमार सिंह भी शामिल रहे।
इसके अलावा कारा अधीक्षक जितेंद्र कुमार, प्रोवेशन पदाधिकारी चंद्रशेखर कुमार, चिकित्सा पदाधिकारी डॉ. राहुल कुमार, और प्रभारी कारा पाल दिनेश वर्मा ने भी कार्यक्रम में भाग लिया।
