डॉ. यामिनी सहाय को मिला दर्शनशास्त्र विभाग की कमान, दो वर्षों तक संभालेंगी कार्यभार

विश्वविद्यालय परिसर, 24 मई 2025 — विश्वविद्यालय प्रशासन ने दर्शनशास्त्र विभाग की कमान एक नई नेतृत्वकर्ता के हाथों सौंप दी है। सहायक प्राध्यापक डॉ. यामिनी सहाय को दर्शनशास्त्र विभाग की कार्यवाहक विभागाध्यक्ष नियुक्त किया गया है। कुलपति प्रोफेसर चंद्र भूषण शर्मा द्वारा जारी आदेश के अनुसार, डॉ. सहाय का कार्यकाल अगले दो वर्षों के लिए निर्धारित किया गया है।

सोमवार को करेंगी औपचारिक पदभार ग्रहण

विश्वविद्यालय की अधिसूचना के अनुसार, निवर्तमान विभागाध्यक्ष डॉ. अमित कुमार सिंह को निर्देश दिया गया है कि वे डॉ. सहाय को औपचारिक रूप से विभागीय कार्यभार सौंपें। डॉ. सहाय आगामी सोमवार को यह जिम्मेदारी ग्रहण करेंगी।

डॉ. अमित कुमार सिंह ने विगत दो वर्षों से दर्शनशास्त्र विभाग के साथ-साथ योग केंद्र के निदेशक के रूप में भी अपनी भूमिका का सफल निर्वहन किया है। उनका विभागाध्यक्ष का कार्यकाल 21 मई 2025 को समाप्त हो चुका है, हालांकि वे योग केंद्र के निदेशक पद पर फिलहाल बने रहेंगे।

शैक्षणिक अनुभव और विशेषज्ञता

डॉ. यामिनी सहाय वर्ष 2015 से विश्वविद्यालय के दर्शनशास्त्र विभाग में सहायक प्राध्यापक के पद पर कार्यरत हैं। इससे पूर्व, उन्होंने 2013 से 2015 तक के. बी. महिला महाविद्यालय में दर्शनशास्त्र पढ़ाया था। उनके पास सिदो-कान्हू मुर्मू विश्वविद्यालय, दुमका में भी शिक्षण का अनुभव है।

उनकी विद्वता पाश्चात्य दर्शन, विशेषकर पाश्चात्य नीतिशास्त्र में विशेष रूप से उल्लेखनीय है। उन्होंने इस क्षेत्र में गंभीर शोध भी किया है, जो विभागीय शैक्षणिक गुणवत्ता और अनुसंधान को नई दिशा प्रदान करने में सहायक सिद्ध हो सकता है।

डॉ. सहाय की नियुक्ति पर विभाग के पूर्व अध्यक्ष डॉ. अमित कुमार सिंह, वरिष्ठ प्राध्यापक विजय कुजुर, शोध छात्र एवं विद्यार्थी वर्ग ने उन्हें बधाई दी है। सभी ने आशा जताई कि डॉ. सहाय के नेतृत्व में विभाग को नया उत्साह और दिशा मिलेगी।
