कवाई में 3200 मेगावाट थर्मल प्लांट विस्तार पर जनसुनवाई सम्पन्न, ग्रामीणों ने रखी सकारात्मक भागीदारी

कवाई (अटरू), 7 जुलाई 2025 — बारां जिले के अटरू तहसील स्थित ग्राम कवाई में प्रस्तावित 3200 मेगावाट अल्ट्रा सुपर क्रिटिकल थर्मल पावर प्लांट के विस्तार को लेकर सोमवार को आयोजित जनसुनवाई में ग्रामीणों की सक्रिय भागीदारी देखने को मिली। यह सुनवाई पर्यावरणीय स्वीकृति की प्रक्रिया के तहत भारत सरकार के पर्यावरण, वन एवं जलवायु परिवर्तन मंत्रालय की अधिसूचना (14 सितंबर, 2006) एवं उसके बाद के संशोधनों के अंतर्गत की गई।

जनसुनवाई का आयोजन राजस्थान राज्य प्रदूषण नियंत्रण मंडल, झालावाड़ के क्षेत्रीय कार्यालय द्वारा किया गया, जिसमें अदाणी पॉवर लिमिटेड द्वारा प्रस्तावित 1320 मेगावाट (2×660) संचालित संयंत्र के चरण-दो विस्तार के रूप में 3200 मेगावाट (4×800) की क्षमता वृद्धि पर विचार-विमर्श हुआ।

ग्रामीणों ने रखे सुझाव, जताई परियोजना में रुचि

कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता उपखंड मजिस्ट्रेट अटरू ओमप्रकाश चंदेलिया ने की, जिन्हें जिला कलेक्टर रोहिताश्व सिंह तोमर द्वारा अधिकृत किया गया था। इस दौरान राज्य प्रदूषण नियंत्रण मंडल के क्षेत्रीय अधिकारी अनुराग यादव, अदाणी पावर के अधिकारी, स्थानीय जनप्रतिनिधि और बड़ी संख्या में ग्रामीण उपस्थित रहे।

ग्रामीणों ने पर्यावरणीय प्रभाव मूल्यांकन रिपोर्ट के विभिन्न बिंदुओं पर सवाल उठाए और पर्यावरण, रोजगार, जल, वायु गुणवत्ता व स्थानीय विकास से जुड़े सुझाव दिए। साथ ही उन्होंने कंपनी से शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य और आजीविका के क्षेत्र में और अधिक प्रयास की अपेक्षा जताई।

CSR पहलों की सराहना

अदाणी पॉवर लिमिटेड द्वारा अब तक जिले में शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य, पर्यावरण संरक्षण और रोजगार सृजन को लेकर किए गए प्रयासों की ग्रामीणों ने प्रशंसा की। ‘हरित पर्यावरण कार्यक्रम’ के अंतर्गत 15 सरकारी एवं आवासीय विद्यालयों में सोलर पैनल लगाए गए हैं, जिससे 4500 से अधिक छात्र-छात्राएं लाभान्वित हो रहे हैं। नवोदय कोचिंग क्लासेस, जिला अस्पतालों में स्वास्थ्य सुविधाएं और 24×7 एम्बुलेंस सेवा भी शामिल हैं।

महिला सशक्तिकरण और आजीविका

अमापुर गांव में महिला संचालित डेयरी परियोजना ने 500 से अधिक महिलाओं को आजीविका से जोड़ा है। यहां दूध संग्रह केंद्रों की स्थापना से ग्रामीणों को स्थायी आमदनी का जरिया मिला है। अदाणी फाउंडेशन द्वारा पर्यावरण संरक्षण को लेकर व्यापक पौधारोपण कार्यक्रम भी चलाया जा रहा है।
