विश्व जनसंख्या दिवस पर गुमला में परिवार कल्याण पखवाड़े की शुरुआत, रैली व जागरूकता कार्यक्रमों से भरा रहा पहला दिन

11 जुलाई को विश्व जनसंख्या दिवस के अवसर पर गुमला जिला मुख्यालय स्थित सदर अस्पताल के सभागार में परिवार कल्याण पखवाड़ा 2024 का विधिवत शुभारंभ किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम का मुख्य उद्देश्य जनसंख्या नियंत्रण और परिवार कल्याण के प्रति जन-जागरूकता फैलाना है। उद्घाटन समारोह में द्वीप प्रज्वलन कर कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत की गई, जिसके साथ ही जागरूकता रथ और रैली भी निकाली गई।

संयुक्त रूप से हुआ उद्घाटन
इस पखवाड़े का शुभारंभ उप विकास आयुक्त दिलेश्वर महतो, सिविल सर्जन डॉ. शंभुनाथ चौधरी, उपाधीक्षक डॉ. अनुपम किशोर, और डीआरसीएचओ डॉ. सुनील राम द्वारा संयुक्त रूप से दीप प्रज्वलन के माध्यम से किया गया। इस अवसर पर जनसंख्या नियंत्रण और परिवार नियोजन के प्रति सामुदायिक सहभागिता बढ़ाने पर बल दिया गया।

जागरूकता रथ और रैली बनी आकर्षण का केंद्र
कार्यक्रम के तहत शहर में एक जागरूकता रथ और रैली निकाली गई जिसमें स्कूली बच्चे, स्वास्थ्यकर्मी और अधिकारियों ने भाग लिया। प्रतिभागियों ने जनसंख्या नियंत्रण के नारे लगाए और परिवार कल्याण से संबंधित बैनर लेकर लोगों को जागरूक किया।

वक्ताओं ने रखे अपने विचार
उप विकास आयुक्त दिलेश्वर महतो ने कहा, “बढ़ती जनसंख्या देश के संसाधनों पर दबाव डाल रही है, जिसे संतुलित करने के लिए जन-जागरूकता और सहभागिता जरूरी है।”

सिविल सर्जन डॉ. शंभुनाथ चौधरी ने बताया कि पखवाड़े के दौरान जिलेभर में स्वास्थ्य शिविर, जनसंवाद सत्र, और विविध कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जाएंगे, ताकि लोग परिवार नियोजन के साधनों से अवगत हो सकें और उन्हें अपनाने के लिए प्रेरित हों।

कार्यक्रम में स्वागत भाषण डॉ. अनुपम किशोर द्वारा और धन्यवाद ज्ञापन डॉ. सुनील राम द्वारा प्रस्तुत किया गया।

प्रमुख उपस्थिति और योगदान
इस अवसर पर जिला कार्यक्रम प्रबंधक जया खाखा, कार्यक्रम समन्वयक अभिनीत आनंद, डाटा प्रबंधक राजीव कुमार सहित सहिया कार्यकर्ता, स्वास्थ्य विभाग की टीम, और बड़ी संख्या में छात्र उपस्थित रहे।

पखवाड़े के उद्देश्य और आगे की रूपरेखा
परिवार कल्याण पखवाड़े का उद्देश्य समाज को परिवार नियोजन के लाभ और महत्व से अवगत कराना है। इसके अंतर्गत विभिन्न शहरी और ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में जागरूकता रैलियाँ, स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण शिविर, परामर्श सत्र तथा जनसंवाद आयोजित किए जाएँगे। यह पहल लोगों को छोटे परिवार, खुशहाल परिवार के मंत्र की ओर प्रेरित करने के लिए है।

गुमला में शुरू हुआ यह परिवार कल्याण पखवाड़ा न केवल जनसंख्या वृद्धि की चुनौती को उजागर करता है, बल्कि सामाजिक स्तर पर सकारात्मक परिवर्तन की दिशा में एक सशक्त कदम भी है। प्रशासन, स्वास्थ्य विभाग और समाज की सामूहिक भागीदारी इसे और प्रभावी बना रही है।
