गुमला: उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित और पुलिस कप्तान हरीश बिन जामां के निर्देश पर जिला परिवहन पदाधिकारी राकेश कुमार गोप ने पालकोट थाना अंतर्गत बघिमा में एक मोटरसाइकिल चेकिंग अभियान का आयोजन किया। इस दौरान ड्राइवरों को हेलमेट पहनने और यातायात नियमों का पालन करने के प्रति जागरूक किया गया।
ऐसे समय में जब सड़क सुरक्षा पर बढ़ती चिंताएं हैं, इस अभियान में हेलमेट न पहनने वाले 25 वाहन चालकों को रुकवाकर चलान किया गया और रोड सेफ्टी काउंसलिंग दी गई। गोप ने बताया, “हेलमेट और सीट बेल्ट जैसी सुरक्षा उपकरण दुर्घटनाओं की गंभीरता को कम कर सकते हैं और जीवन बचाने में मददगार होते हैं।”
निरीक्षण के दौरान अतिरिक्त रूप से ऐसे कई मोटरसाइकिल सवारों पर भी कार्यवाही की गई जिन्होंने वाहन संबंधी जरूरी कागजात प्रस्तुत नहीं किए, जिनसे कुल ₹45,000 का जुर्माना वसूला गया।
इस अभियान में जिला परिवहन पदाधिकारी राकेश कुमार गोप और उनकी टीम सक्रिय रूप से शामिल रही। यह पहल गुमला प्रशासन की सड़क पर सुरक्षा बढ़ाने की दिशा में उठाया गया महत्वपूर्ण कदम है।
