गुमला — शनिवार रात लगभग 8:30 बजे सिसई बाईपास के पास रांची से गुमला आ रही दुर्गा गुप्ता की पिकअप (जे.एच. 01 ए.एफ.4461) को कुछ अपराधियों ने अहलद रोका, चालक दिलीप सिंह से मारपीट की और ₹2 लाख मूल्य की किराना सामग्री समेत वाहन लूटकर फरार हो गए।
दुर्गा गुप्ता ने घटना की जानकारी गुमला पुलिस कप्तान हरीश बिन जामां को दी। उन्होंने बताया कि वे और चेंबर के पदाधिकारी पुलिस से मिलकर मामले की व्यापक जानकारी प्रदान की।
पुलिस कप्तान हरीश बिन जामां ने घटनास्थल का संज्ञान लेते हुए जिले के सभी थानों को अलर्ट पर रखा। उन्होंने कहा,
“हमारी टीम इस मामले की छानबीन में जुटी है। जल्द ही सकारात्मक परिणाम सामने आएंगे।”
उन्होंने गुमला वासियों को भरोसा दिलाया कि अपराधियों को सलाखों के पीछे पहुंचाना प्राथमिकता है और “भय-गुमला एवं अपराध-रहित गुमला” उनकी सरकार का लक्ष्य है।
दुर्गा गुप्ता ने गुमला सदर थाने में लिखित शिकायत भी दर्ज कराई है, जिसमें उन्होंने पिकअप व सामान की वापसी की गुहार लगाई है।
गुमला में यह लूट की संज्ञा इस क्षेत्र में बढ़ती हुई सड़क अपराध की चिंता को और गहरा करती है। पुलिस कप्तान का इस घटना पर संवेदनशील और त्वरित रुख, जिलेवासियों के विश्वास को मजबूत करने का प्रयास है। गुमला पुलिस प्रशासन ने स्पष्ट किया कि अपराधियों को पकड़ने और पुनरावृत्ति रोकने के लिए सभी आवश्यक कदम उठाए जा रहे हैं।
