गुमला — गुमला जिले के प्रमुख बाजार क्षेत्र साप्ताहिक बाजार टांड़ में शनिवार को विशेष सफाई अभियान चलाया गया। यह अभियान उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित के निर्देश पर नगर परिषद, गुमला द्वारा संचालित किया गया।
अभियान के दौरान JCB मशीन की मदद से सड़कों के किनारे और बाजार परिसर में जमा कचरा, गंदगी और अवैध मलबा हटाया गया। नगर परिषद की टीम ने नालियों की सफाई से लेकर फूटपाथ और मार्गों पर फैलाए गए ठोस अपशिष्ट को भी साफ किया।
नगर परिषद ने व्यापारियों और आम नागरिकों से स्वच्छता में सहयोग करने की अपील करते हुए कहा कि स्वच्छ वातावरण बनाना हम सभी की सामूहिक जिम्मेदारी है।
उपायुक्त ने दिए नियमित निगरानी के निर्देश
उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित ने निर्देश दिए हैं कि भीड़भाड़ वाले क्षेत्रों, विशेषकर बाजार टांड़, सब्जी मंडी, बस स्टैंड आदि में नियमित सफाई अभियान चलाया जाए, ताकि नागरिकों को स्वस्थ, स्वच्छ और सुरक्षित वातावरण मिल सके।
नगर परिषद ने यह भी आश्वस्त किया है कि इस प्रकार के विशेष सफाई अभियान को हर सप्ताह जरूरत के अनुसार अन्य क्षेत्रों में भी चलाया जाएगा।
