पालकोट थाना में सड़क सुरक्षा अभियान के तहत 60 हज़ार रुपये का चालान, चालकों को किया गया जागरूक

गुमला — गुमला उपायुक्त और पुलिस अधीक्षक के निर्देश पर पालकोट थाना क्षेत्र में विशेष मोटरसाइकिल चेकिंग अभियान चलाया गया। इस दौरान न केवल ट्रैफिक नियमों का उल्लंघन करने वालों पर कार्रवाई की गई, बल्कि चालकों को सड़क सुरक्षा के प्रति जागरूक भी किया गया।

इस अभियान का नेतृत्व जिला परिवहन पदाधिकारी राकेश कुमार गोप ने किया, जिसमें सड़क पर दोपहिया वाहनों की व्यापक जांच की गई। जांच के दौरान 60 मोटरसाइकिल चालकों को ट्रैफिक नियमों के उल्लंघन के लिए रोका गया और उन्हें रोड सेफ्टी काउंसलिंग दी गई।

जिला परिवहन पदाधिकारी ने चालकों को बताया कि “सड़क पर सुरक्षित चलना सिर्फ एक जिम्मेदारी नहीं बल्कि जीवन रक्षा का माध्यम है।” उन्होंने सभी को हेलमेट और सीट बेल्ट के उपयोग, वाहन के आवश्यक कागजात साथ रखने और ट्रैफिक संकेतों का पालन करने का महत्व समझाया।

वाहन जांच के दौरान कई चालकों द्वारा आवश्यक दस्तावेज प्रस्तुत न किए जाने पर ₹60,000 का चालान भी वसूला गया। यह अभियान न केवल कानून का पालन सुनिश्चित करने के लिए था, बल्कि लोगों में यह संदेश देने का भी प्रयास था कि सड़क सुरक्षा केवल नियमों की बात नहीं, बल्कि जीवन से जुड़ा मसला है।
