वज्रपात की चपेट में आकर महिला और युवक की मौत, दो अन्य झुलसे – गुमला में बिजली गिरने से हाहाकार

गुमला, 23 जुलाई: गुमला जिले में शुक्रवार की शाम तेज बारिश और अचानक हुई वज्रपात की दो घटनाओं ने जनजीवन को झकझोर कर रख दिया। एक महिला और एक युवक की घटनास्थल पर ही मौत हो गई, जबकि दो अन्य लोग गंभीर रूप से झुलस गए हैं। दोनों झुलसे हुए पीड़ितों का इलाज गुमला सदर अस्पताल में चल रहा है।

पहली घटना गुमला सदर थाना क्षेत्र के बसुवा गांव की है। 33 वर्षीय मुतारी खातून, जो पहले से ही विधवा थीं, अपने खेत में धान की रोपाई कर घर लौट रही थीं, तभी रास्ते में अचानक हुई वज्रपात की चपेट में आ गईं। मौके पर ही उनकी दर्दनाक मौत हो गई। उनके दो मासूम बच्चे अब अनाथ हो गए हैं।

दूसरी घटना पालकोट थाना क्षेत्र के बधीमा बागेसेरा नावाडीह गांव की है। 18 वर्षीय राजकुमार प्रधान, जो अपने घर के अंदर फाइबर की कुर्सी पर बैठे थे, अचानक बिजली गिरने से मौके पर ही उनकी भी मौत हो गई। स्थानीय लोगों के अनुसार, दोनों शवों को पारंपरिक उपायों के तहत कुछ घंटे तक गोबर से ढका गया, लेकिन कोई फायदा नहीं हुआ।

इन दोनों मृतकों को आनन-फानन में गुमला सदर अस्पताल लाया गया, जहां डॉक्टरों ने उन्हें मृत घोषित कर दिया। घटनाओं की सूचना मिलते ही संबंधित थानों की पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और शवों को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेजा। शनिवार को शव परिजनों को सौंप दिए गए।

इसके अलावा, गुमला के अम्बवा गांव निवासी सलमा खातून और केसीपारा गांव निवासी एसो उरांव भी वज्रपात की चपेट में आकर गंभीर रूप से झुलस गए। दोनों को प्राथमिक उपचार के लिए सदर अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है, जहां डॉक्टरों की निगरानी में उनका इलाज जारी है।

स्थानीय प्रशासन द्वारा आपदा राहत के तहत संबंधित परिवारों को सहायता पहुंचाने की प्रक्रिया शुरू कर दी गई है। हालांकि, बार-बार हो रही इस प्रकार की घटनाएं यह सवाल खड़ा करती हैं कि क्या वज्रपात से बचाव के लिए ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में पर्याप्त जागरूकता और सुरक्षा उपाय किए गए हैं?

गुमला जिला प्रशासन और आपदा प्रबंधन विभाग के लिए यह एक चेतावनी है कि बदलते मौसम और प्राकृतिक आपदाओं से निपटने के लिए प्रभावी पूर्व चेतावनी और राहत तंत्र को और अधिक मजबूत किया जाए।
