जनजातीय गौरव दिवस एवं धरती आबा भगवान बिरसा मुंडा की 150वीं जयंती पर प्रधानमंत्री द्वारा गुमला जिले को चार शैक्षणिक परिसरों की सौगात

गुमला : जनजातीय गौरव दिवस एवं धरती आबा भगवान बिरसा मुंडा की 150वीं जयंती के अवसर पर आज गुमला जिला महत्वपूर्ण उपलब्धि का भागीदार बना। माननीय प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के माध्यम से सिसई प्रखंड स्थित नवनिर्मित एकलव्य मॉडल आवासीय विद्यालय (EMRS) का ऑनलाइन उद्घाटन किया। इसके साथ ही बिशुनपुर, पालकोट एवं रायडीह प्रखंडों में स्थापित किए जाने वाले एक-एक एकलव्य मॉडल आवासीय विद्यालयों का शिलान्यास भी किया।

प्रधानमंत्री द्वारा किए गए यह उद्घाटन एवं शिलान्यास कार्यक्रम जिले के शैक्षिक सुदृढ़ीकरण की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम माना जा रहा है। प्रखंड मुख्यालयों में एलईडी स्क्रीन के माध्यम से कार्यक्रम का प्रत्यक्ष प्रसारण किया गया, जिसे बड़ी संख्या में स्थानीय नागरिकों, जनप्रतिनिधियों एवं अधिकारियों ने देखा। उपस्थित लोगों ने इसे जनजातीय क्षेत्र में गुणवत्तापूर्ण आवासीय शिक्षा के विस्तार हेतु महत्वपूर्ण पहल बताया।

इसपर झारखंड सरकार के अनुसूचित जनजाति, अनुसूचित जाति एवं पिछड़ा वर्ग कल्याण विभाग के मंत्री चमरा लिंडा ने कहा कि एकलव्य मॉडल विद्यालय जनजातीय बच्चों के लिए गुणवत्तापूर्ण, तकनीकी रूप से सक्षम एवं आवासीय शिक्षा उपलब्ध कराने की दिशा में अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाएंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि इस पहल से जनजातीय बच्चों के सर्वांगीण विकास को प्रोत्साहन मिलेगा तथा भविष्य में वे राज्य की प्रगति में महत्वपूर्ण योगदान देंगे।

स्थानीय नागरिकों ने भी प्रधानमंत्री की इस पहल का स्वागत करते हुए कहा कि जिले में शिक्षा के ढांचे को सुदृढ़ करने में यह कदम निर्णायक सिद्ध होगा। अभिभावकों ने अपेक्षा जताई कि विद्यालय प्रारंभ होने से बच्चों को बेहतर शैक्षिक वातावरण प्राप्त होगा।
