गुमला: उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित के निर्देश पर खाद्य सुरक्षा विभाग की टीम ने चैनपुर बाज़ार में बड़े स्तर पर छापेमारी अभियान चलाया। टीम ने होटलों और किराना दुकानों में खाद्य सामग्री की गुणवत्ता, स्वच्छता और लाइसेंस की विस्तृत जांच की।
छापेमारी के दौरान कई दुकानों में एक्सपायरी खाद्य उत्पाद पाए गए, जिन्हें मौके पर ही नष्ट कर दिया गया। वहीं, कई दुकानदारों के पास फूड लाइसेंस नहीं मिलने पर विभाग ने जुर्माना भी लगाया। अधिकारियों ने चेतावनी दी कि जो दुकानदार अब तक जुर्माना जमा नहीं कर पाए हैं, वे तुरंत भुगतान करें, अन्यथा जुर्माने में वृद्धि की जाएगी और दुकानें सील भी की जा सकती हैं।
कार्रवाई की शुरुआत बस स्टैंड स्थित राजू होटल, सूरज होटल और रोहित होटल से हुई। इसके बाद अल्बर्ट एक्का चौक के अनुराग होटल, बहादुर होटल और अजय होटल में भी स्वच्छता और खाद्य गुणवत्ता की जांच की गई। चैनपुर बाज़ार की कई किराना दुकानों में भी एक्सपायरी सामान मिलने पर तत्काल जुर्माना किया गया।
अचानक हुई इस बड़ी कार्रवाई से बाज़ार में हड़कंप मच गया है और दुकानदार अब अपने गोदामों और दुकानों में रखी खाद्य सामग्री की स्वयं जांच कर रहे हैं।
अभियान में खाद्य सुरक्षा पदाधिकारी प्रकाशचंद्र गुग्गी, प्रियांशु कुमार, सूरज कुमार और चैनपुर थाना के एएसआई निर्मल कुमार शामिल थे। टीम ने स्पष्ट किया कि खाद्य सुरक्षा नियमों के उल्लंघन पर किसी तरह की ढिलाई नहीं बरती जाएगी।
