भारत सरकार के वित्तीय सेवा विभाग (DFS) के निर्देश के तहत गुमला जिला प्रशासन द्वारा 5 दिसंबर 2025 (शुक्रवार) को अनक्लेम्ड डिपॉजिट से संबंधित जागरूकता और निस्तारण हेतु एक जिला स्तरीय विशेष शिविर आयोजित किया जाएगा। यह शिविर प्रातः 11:30 बजे नगर भवन, गुमला में शुरू होगा और इसका उद्घाटन उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित करेंगी।
बैंक प्रतिनिधि देंगे विस्तृत मार्गदर्शन
जिले के विभिन्न बैंकों के प्रतिनिधि उपस्थित रहेंगे और वे लोगों को निष्क्रिय या अनक्लेम्ड बैंक खाते, सावधि जमा (FD), पीपीएफ तथा अन्य निष्क्रिय वित्तीय योजनाओं की स्थिति के बारे में जानकारी देंगे। साथ ही, इन खातों से धनराशि प्राप्त करने की प्रक्रिया भी विस्तार से समझाई जाएगी।
उद्देश्य: जागरूकता और निष्क्रिय जमा का निस्तारण
अग्रणी जिला प्रबंधक पवन कुमार ने बताया कि कई लोगों की जमा राशियां वर्षों से उनके या मृतक परिजनों के खातों में निष्क्रिय पड़ी हैं, जिनके संबंध में लोग अनभिज्ञ रहते हैं। उन्होंने जिले के नागरिकों से अपील की कि वे अपने पुराने बैंक खातों, जमा योजनाओं या मृत परिजनों के खातों से संबंधित दस्तावेज लेकर शिविर में आएं।
पारदर्शिता और वित्तीय प्रणाली में सुधार की दिशा में कदम
अधिकारियों ने बताया कि ऐसे शिविर बैंकिंग प्रणाली में पारदर्शिता बढ़ाने के साथ-साथ निष्क्रिय धन को पुनः सक्रिय वित्तीय तंत्र में लाने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाते हैं। इससे नागरिकों की पूंजी सुरक्षित रूप से उनके पास लौट सकेगी।
