गुमला जिले में सड़क सुरक्षा को सख्ती से लागू करने के लिए जिला परिवहन पदाधिकारी (DTO) ज्ञान शंकर जायसवाल गुरुवार देर रात फिर सड़क पर उतरे। लगातार हो रहे जांच अभियानों के क्रम में इस बार टॉर्च लाइट, सर्च लाइट और अन्य अत्यधिक तेज एक्स्ट्रा लाइट्स लगाने वाले वाहनों पर बड़ी कार्रवाई की गई।
अवैध लाइट्स पर बड़ा एक्शन: ₹99,000 का जुर्माना
रात में चलाए गए इस विशेष अभियान के दौरान DTO टीम ने कई व्यावसायिक एवं निजी वाहनों की जांच की।
- मौके पर ही कुल ₹99,000 का जुर्माना वसूला गया।
- हाइवा, पिकअप और विभिन्न प्रकार के चार पहिया वाहनों में लगी अनधिकृत तेज लाइटें तुरंत हटवाई गईं।
- टीम ने उन वाहनों पर भी कार्रवाई की कोशिश की जो तेज गति से भागने या नंबर प्लेट छुपाने की कोशिश करते हुए पकड़े गए।
अधिकारियों ने साफ किया कि ऐसी तीव्र रोशनी सड़क पर दूसरों की आंखों को चुभती है और हादसे की संभावना कई गुना बढ़ा देती है।
सख्त चेतावनी: सिर्फ कंपनी फिटेड लाइट ही मान्य
DTO ज्ञान शंकर जायसवाल ने कहा कि किसी भी वाहन में अतिरिक्त या अवैध मॉडिफिकेशन बिल्कुल बर्दाश्त नहीं किए जाएंगे।
उन्होंने स्पष्ट निर्देश दिया:
“वाहनों में केवल कंपनी फिटेड लाइट ही मान्य है। एक्स्ट्रा तेज लाइट लगाना नियम विरुद्ध है और यह दूसरों की सुरक्षा के साथ खिलवाड़ है।”
उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि सड़क सुरक्षा अभियान आगे भी और कठोर तरीके से जारी रहेगा।
गुमला जिला परिवहन विभाग द्वारा लगातार चलाए जा रहे ऐसे रात्रिकालीन अभियानों से सड़क सुरक्षा को लेकर जागरूकता और अनुशासन में तेज़ी से सुधार की उम्मीद की जा रही है।
