अनक्लेम्ड डिपॉजिट विशेष शिविर: 199 खातों का निस्तारण, 55 लाख रुपये लौटे ग्राहकों को

गुमला : वित्तीय सेवा विभाग (DFS), भारत सरकार के निर्देश पर उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित के नेतृत्व में आज नगर भवन, गुमला में अनक्लेम्ड डिपॉजिट जागरूकता एवं निस्तारण हेतु जिला स्तरीय विशेष शिविर आयोजित किया गया। कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ उप विकास आयुक्त दिलेश्वर महत्तो ने किया।

निष्क्रिय खाते क्यों महत्वपूर्ण?

उप विकास आयुक्त ने बताया कि लंबे समय से संचालित नहीं होने वाले बैंक खातों की राशि भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक के DEAF खाते में चली जाती है। उन्होंने नागरिकों से अपील की कि अपने बैंक/डाकघर खातों को समय-समय पर सक्रिय रखें, KYC अपडेट करें और पात्र राशि समय पर प्राप्त करें।

बैंकों ने दी विस्तृत जानकारी

शिविर में विभिन्न बैंक प्रतिनिधियों ने लोगों को बताया—

• निष्क्रिय खाते पुनः सक्रिय करने की प्रक्रिया
• सावधि जमा, पीपीएफ और अन्य योजनाओं में जमा राशि की स्थिति
• मृतक परिजनों के खातों से दावों की प्रक्रिया

ताकि कोई भी नागरिक अपनी पात्र राशि से वंचित न हो।

55 लाख रुपये लौटे, लोगों में उत्साह

अग्रणी जिला प्रबंधक पवन कुमार ने कहा कि इस शिविर का उद्देश्य लोगों को उनकी मेहनत की जमा पूंजी के प्रति जागरूक करना है।
आज के विशेष शिविर में:

• 199 निष्क्रिय खातों का निस्तारण हुआ
• लगभग ₹55 लाख की राशि लाभुकों को वापस की गई

लोगों ने इस पहल को बेहद सराहा और काफी उत्साह देखा गया।
