गुमला में सड़क सुरक्षा को लेकर सख़्ती: DTO और थाना प्रभारी का पैदल मार्च, ओवरलोडिंग पर 2 वाहनों पर FIR

गुमला जिले में सड़क सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने को लेकर जिला प्रशासन ने शुक्रवार को अब तक की सबसे सख़्त कार्रवाई की। जिला परिवहन पदाधिकारी (DTO) ज्ञान शंकर जायसवाल और गुमला थाना प्रभारी महेंद्र करमाली के नेतृत्व में पटेल चौक से सिसई रोड तक पैदल मार्च करते हुए सघन जांच अभियान चलाया गया। अभियान में माननीय विधायक भी मौजूद रहे, जिन्होंने प्रशासन की कार्रवाई की सराहना की।

जांच के दौरान दिनभर नियमों का उल्लंघन करने वाले वाहनों से ₹1.50 लाख से अधिक का जुर्माना वसूला गया, जबकि रात में की गई जांच में यात्री बसों से ₹27 हजार का अतिरिक्त जुर्माना लगाया गया।

ओवरलोडिंग पर जीरो टॉलरेंस, दो वाहनों पर FIR

प्रशासन ने ओवरलोडिंग के खिलाफ सख़्त रुख अपनाते हुए दो वाहनों पर प्राथमिकी (FIR) दर्ज कराई है। DTO ने बताया कि स्कूल के बच्चों और यात्रियों को ओवरलोड कर ले जा रहे एक टेंपो और एक टुकटुक (ई-रिक्शा) के खिलाफ कानूनी कार्रवाई की गई है। उन्होंने स्पष्ट किया कि ओवरलोडिंग करते पाए जाने पर वाहन जब्त करने के साथ-साथ विधिसम्मत कार्रवाई भी की जाएगी।

दिनभर चला पैदल मार्च, कई तरह की कार्रवाई

संयुक्त अभियान के दौरान बिना हेलमेट दोपहिया वाहन चला रहे स्कूल छात्रों, ट्रिपल राइडिंग करने वालों पर चालान काटे गए। इसके अलावा ऑटो रिक्शा में सामने की सीट पर सवारी बैठाने जैसे नियमों के उल्लंघन पर भी सख़्ती से कार्रवाई की गई।

रात में भी सघन जांच, बसों को चेतावनी

दिन की कार्रवाई के बाद अधिकारियों ने रात में भी जांच अभियान जारी रखा। इस दौरान नियमों का उल्लंघन कर रही यात्री बसों पर ₹27 हजार का जुर्माना लगाया गया। DTO ने बस चालकों और संचालकों को चेतावनी दी कि अतिरिक्त लाइट (एक्स्ट्रा लाइट) लगाकर वाहन चलाना अवैध है। उन्होंने कहा कि चालक स्वयं ऐसी लाइटें हटा लें, अन्यथा जुर्माने के साथ कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

विधायक और प्रशासन की अपील

अभियान के दौरान उपस्थित माननीय विधायक ने प्रशासन की सख़्ती की प्रशंसा करते हुए कहा कि गुमला जिले में सड़क दुर्घटनाओं में बढ़ोतरी हुई है और ऐसी कार्रवाई आमजन की सुरक्षा के लिए आवश्यक है।
वहीं DTO ज्ञान शंकर जायसवाल ने वाहन चालकों से अपील की कि दिसंबर माह दुर्घटनाओं के लिहाज से संवेदनशील होता है, इसलिए सभी लोग यातायात नियमों का सख्ती से पालन करें।

प्रशासन ने स्पष्ट किया है कि गुमला जिले में सुरक्षित और अनुशासित सड़क परिवहन व्यवस्था सुनिश्चित करने के लिए यह सघन जांच अभियान आगे भी लगातार जारी रहेगा।
