पंजाब की राजनीति के पितामह प्रकाश सिंह बादल की भारी-भरकम कद-काठी और स्थिर व्यक्तित्व ने उन्हें राज्य का सबसे प्रिय नेता बनाया। शिरोमणि अकाली दल के संरक्षक और पंजाब के सबसे लंबे समय तक मुख्यमंत्री रहे बादल साहब ने राज्य को आतंकवाद के अंधेरे दौर से निकालकर विकास की रोशनी दी। किसान अधिकार, पंजाबियत की रक्षा, ग्रामीण विकास और धार्मिक स्थलों का संरक्षण उनके कार्यकाल की अमिट निशानियां हैं। वहीं पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री एच.डी. देवे गौड़ा की भारी कद-काठी और शांत स्वभाव उन्हें भारतीय राजनीति का एक अनुपम राजनेता की छवि प्रदान करता है। उनकी मजबूत उपस्थिति ग्रामीण भारत की आवाज को राष्ट्रीय मंच पर बल प्रदान करती थी। सादगी और जनता से जुड़ाव उनकी राजनीति की पहचान है।
हरियाणा की राजनीति में ओम प्रकाश चौटाला की भारी-भरकम कद-काठी और स्पष्टवादी अंदाज ने उन्हें एक मजबूत जननेता बनाया। इंडियन नेशनल लोक दल के नेता चौटाला ने कई बार मुख्यमंत्री रहते शिक्षा, किसान कल्याण और ग्रामीण विकास पर विशेष जोर दिया। उनका जनता से सीधा संवाद और दृढ़ निर्णय क्षमता उनकी सबसे बड़ी पूंजी रही। परिवार की लंबी राजनीतिक विरासत को आगे बढ़ाते हुए उन्होंने राज्य को नई दिशा दी। जबकि भूपिंदर सिंह हुड्डा हरियाणा के उन कद्दावर नेताओं में हैं जिनकी मजबूत बनावट और दूरदर्शी नेतृत्व ने राज्य को औद्योगिक एवं कृषि दोनों क्षेत्रों में आगे बढ़ाया। कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता और पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री हुड्डा ने गुड़गांव को साइबर हब बनाने और किसान कल्याण योजनाओं से हरियाणा को नई पहचान दी।
भारतीय राजनीति के काव्यकार और युगद्रष्टा अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी की भारी कद-काठी और करिश्माई व्यक्तित्व आज भी करोड़ों दिलों में जीवित है। तीन बार प्रधानमंत्री रहे वाजपेयी जी ने पोखरण परमाणु परीक्षण, स्वर्णिम चतुर्भुज, दूरसंचार क्रांति और विदेश नीति में ऐतिहासिक कदम उठाए। उनकी ओजस्वी वाणी और सहज उपस्थिति विपक्ष को भी सम्मोहित करती थी। वाजपेयी जी ने साबित किया कि मजबूत व्यक्तित्व विचारों की गहराई से और अमर होता है। वहीं वर्तमान केंद्रीय गृह एवं सहकारिता मंत्री अमित शाह की मजबूत बनावट और संगठनात्मक प्रतिभा उन्हें आधुनिक राजनीति का सबसे शक्तिशाली चेहरा बनाती है। भाजपा को राष्ट्रीय अजेय शक्ति बनाने वाले शाह ने अनुच्छेद 370, तीन तलाक उन्मूलन और सीएए जैसे साहसिक निर्णय लिए। उनकी दमदार उपस्थिति स्थिरता और दृढ़ता का प्रतीक है। इनके अतिरिक्त पूर्व उपराष्ट्रपति एम. वेंकैया नायडू दक्षिण भारत की राजनीति के मजबूत आधार हैं। संसदीय कार्य, शहरी एवं ग्रामीण विकास में उनका योगदान अविस्मरणीय है।
