दीक्षांत विद्यार्थियों के लिए नए जीवन की शुरुआत है : कुलपति प्रो. चंद्र भूषण शर्मा

विनोबा भावे विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति प्रोफेसर चंद्र भूषण शर्मा ने कहा कि दीक्षांत समारोह विद्यार्थियों के जीवन का अंतिम पड़ाव नहीं, बल्कि आगे के जीवन की एक नई शुरुआत है। अब विद्यार्थी अपने पसंद के कार्यक्षेत्र का चयन कर सकते हैं और आत्मविश्वास के साथ किसी भी चुनौती का सामना कर सकते हैं। उन्होंने विश्वास जताया कि विश्वविद्यालय के विद्यार्थी “विकसित भारत–2047” के संकल्प को साकार करने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाएंगे।

कुलपति प्रो. शर्मा मंगलवार को विश्वविद्यालय के स्वामी विवेकानंद सभागार में आयोजित दसवें दीक्षांत समारोह को संबोधित कर रहे थे। उन्होंने कहा कि इस समारोह के केंद्र में उपाधि प्राप्त करने वाले विद्यार्थी हैं और यह दिन उनके परिश्रम व उपलब्धियों का उत्सव है।

अपने संबोधन में कुलपति ने विश्वविद्यालय की प्रमुख उपलब्धियों की जानकारी कुलाधिपति के समक्ष रखी। उन्होंने बताया कि विश्वविद्यालय को देश का आधुनिकतम पाठ्यक्रम इंटीग्रेटेड टीचर एजुकेशन प्रोग्राम प्राप्त हुआ है। इसके साथ ही दिशोम गुरु शिबू सोरेन पीठ की स्थापना शीघ्र की जाएगी। उपाधि प्रमाण पत्रों की ट्रैकिंग व्यवस्था लागू कर दी गई है तथा विश्वविद्यालय के कई कार्यालयी कार्य डिजिटल और ऑटोमेटेड मोड में शुरू किए जा रहे हैं।

कुलपति ने कहा कि नई शिक्षा नीति–2020 के अनुरूप पाठ्यक्रमों का नवीकरण, शिक्षकों को राष्ट्रीय स्तर की संगोष्ठियों में भेजना, पीएचडी शोध कार्य की गुणवत्ता में सुधार, लंबे समय से बंद महिला छात्रावास को पुनः प्रारंभ करना हाल की महत्वपूर्ण उपलब्धियों में शामिल है। इसके अलावा अनुसूचित जाति एवं जनजाति विद्यार्थियों के लिए परिसर में बने छात्रावास तथा 250 बिस्तरों वाले पुरुष छात्रावास को भी शीघ्र शुरू करने की तैयारी है।

उन्होंने बताया कि वर्ष 2024 में विश्वविद्यालय को पीएम उषा योजना के तहत मल्टी डिसीप्लिनरी एजुकेशन एंड रिसर्च यूनिवर्सिटी (MERU) के लिए बड़ी राशि अनुदान स्वरूप प्राप्त हुई है। देश के शीर्ष विश्वविद्यालयों और महाविद्यालयों के शिक्षकों को यहां आमंत्रित किया जा रहा है। भारतीय ज्ञान परंपरा पर आधारित व्याख्यान माला प्रारंभ की गई है, वहीं अनुसूचित जाति व जनजाति विद्यार्थियों के लिए नेट/जेआरएफ कोचिंग की विशेष व्यवस्था की गई है।

कुलपति ने कहा कि संस्कृत भाषा और साहित्य से जुड़े कार्यक्रम यूसेट में शुरू किए गए हैं। विश्वविद्यालय में कला, संस्कृति और खेलकूद के विकास को गति दी जा रही है। 700 किलोवाट के सोलर प्लांट के माध्यम से ग्रीन एनर्जी के उपयोग में विश्वविद्यालय ने एक उदाहरण प्रस्तुत किया है। साथ ही वनस्पतिशास्त्र विभाग द्वारा परिसर के सभी पेड़-पौधों की जियो-टैगिंग कर उनके स्थानीय व वैज्ञानिक नाम, औषधीय और आर्थिक उपयोग का विवरण तैयार किया जा रहा है।

इस अवसर पर कुलपति प्रो. शर्मा ने विश्वविद्यालय में शिक्षकों तथा तृतीय और चतुर्थ वर्गीय कर्मचारियों की भारी कमी की ओर भी कुलाधिपति का ध्यान आकृष्ट कराया। उन्होंने बताया कि विश्वविद्यालय में शिक्षकों के 633 पद रिक्त हैं। वहीं तृतीय वर्गीय कर्मचारियों के 506 स्वीकृत पदों के विरुद्ध मात्र 110 तथा चतुर्थ वर्गीय कर्मचारियों के 387 पदों के मुकाबले केवल 109 कर्मी कार्यरत हैं। साथ ही लंबे समय से लंबित शिक्षकों की पदोन्नति के मामलों को भी शीघ्र सुलझाने की आवश्यकता बताई।
