गुमला में ‘गांधीगिरी’ से सड़क सुरक्षा का आगाज़: हेलमेट न पहनने वालों को पहनाई माला, नियमों के पालन पर मिला गुलाब

गुमला : – गुमला 02 जनवरी वर्ष 2026 की शुरुआत गुमला जिले में केवल उत्सव के साथ नहीं, बल्कि ‘जीवन रक्षा’ के संकल्प के साथ हुई है। ‘सड़क सुरक्षा जीवन रक्षा’ के तहत ‘सीख से सुरक्षा, तकनीक से परिवर्तन’ थीम पर आधारित अभियान के दूसरे दिन आज जिला प्रशासन और पुलिस प्रशासन ने शहर के व्यस्त पटेल चौक पर एक अनोखा और संवेदनशील जागरूकता अभियान चलाया।

सम्मान और सीख का अनूठा संगम

अभियान के दौरान अधिकारियों ने गांधीवादी तरीका अपनाते हुए लोगों को यातायात नियमों के प्रति जागरूक किया। सड़क पर जो वाहन चालक हेलमेट और सीट बेल्ट लगाकर नियमों का पालन करते दिखे, उन्हें जिला परिवहन पदाधिकारी एवं पुलिस अधिकारियों ने गुलाब का फूल देकर सम्मानित किया। वहीं, बिना हेलमेट, बिना सीट बेल्ट और ट्रिपल लोडिंग वाले वाहन चालकों का चालान काटने के बजाय उन्हें माला पहनाकर शर्मिंदा किया गया और उनकी सुरक्षा के प्रति आगाह किया गया।

किस्मत के भरोसे न छोड़ें जान, अधिकारियों का कड़ा संदेश

अभियान का नेतृत्व कर रहे उप विकास आयुक्त (DDC) दिलेश्वर महतो और जिला परिवहन पदाधिकारी (DTO) ज्ञान शंकर जायसवाल ने जनता को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि दुर्घटनाएं ‘किस्मत’ से नहीं, बल्कि ‘लापरवाही’ से होती हैं। अधिकारियों ने दोटूक शब्दों में कहा, “जिंदा हैं, तो सुरक्षा का अहसास जरूरी है। यह सोचना छोड़ दें कि किस्मत होगी तो बच जाएंगे; किस्मत के भरोसे नहीं, समझदारी के भरोसे चलें।”

अधिकारियों ने सड़क पर संभाली कमान

पटेल चौक पर आयोजित इस अभियान में SDPO सुरेश प्रसाद यादव, सार्जेंट मेजर अभिमन्यु कुमार, और थाना प्रभारी महेंद्र करमाली ने स्वयं मोर्चा संभाला। उन्होंने वाहन चालकों से भावुक अपील की कि जब वे घर से बाहर निकलते हैं, तो पूरा परिवार उनके सुरक्षित लौटने का इंतजार करता है।

प्रशासन की मुख्य चेतावनियाँ और अपील:

इंतजार की अहमियत: आपकी एक लापरवाही घर के इंतजार को उम्र भर के मातम में बदल सकती है।

ड्रिंक एंड ड्राइव पर जीरो टॉलरेंस: नशे की हालत में वाहन चलाना अपराध और जानलेवा जोखिम है।

दोस्ती की गलत परिभाषा: “गाड़ी तेरा भाई चलाएगा” जैसे जुमलों से बचें। नशे में धुत्त व्यक्ति को चाबी न दें।

2030 तक मौतों को आधा करने का लक्ष्य

झारखंड सरकार के लक्ष्य के अनुसार, वर्ष 2030 तक सड़क दुर्घटनाओं में होने वाली मौतों को 50% तक कम करना है। इसके लिए 1 से 31 जनवरी तक पूरे जिले में जागरूकता रथ, स्कूलों में पाठशाला और विशेष चेकिंग अभियान चलाए जाएंगे।
