घाघरा अंचल के वन क्षेत्र में अवैध अफीम की खेती पर त्वरित कार्रवाई

गुमला : – गुमला जिला अंतर्गत स्थित घाघरा अंचल के आदर पंचायत के सलगी गांव स्थित वन क्षेत्र में अवैध रूप से अफीम की खेती किए जाने की सूचना प्राप्त होते ही उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित के निर्देश के आलोक में प्रशासन द्वारा तत्काल कार्रवाई की गई।

इस क्रम में अंचल अधिकारी घाघरा सुशील खाखा, थाना प्रभारी मोहन सिंह एवं फॉरेस्टर राम शेखर द्वारा शुक्रवार (30 जनवरी 2026) के शाम संयुक्त रूप से औचक छापेमारी की गई। छापेमारी के दौरान यह पाया गया कि वन क्षेत्र के अंतर्गत लगभग 65 डिस्किमिल भूमि पर अवैध रूप से अफीम की खेती की गई थी। तत्पश्चात संबंधित अधिकारियों द्वारा मौके पर ही उक्त अवैध खेती को नष्ट कर दिया गया।

उक्त भूमि वन क्षेत्र के अंतर्गत होने के कारण जिला प्रशासन एवं वन विभाग द्वारा समन्वय स्थापित करते हुए संयुक्त कार्रवाई के तहत अवैध अफीम की खेती को पूर्णतः डिस्ट्रॉय किया गया।

अंचल अधिकारी ने बताया कि मामले में आगे की कार्रवाई जारी है तथा अवैध खेती में संलिप्त व्यक्ति – व्यक्तियों की पहचान एवं खोज की जा रही है। जांचोपरांत इस अवैध कृत्य में शामिल दोषियों के विरुद्ध सुसंगत धाराओं के अंतर्गत कड़ी कानूनी कार्रवाई सुनिश्चित की जाएगी।
