गुमला: बिना हेलमेट पकड़े गए वाहन चालकों के लिए विशेष काउंसलिंग किया, यातायात नियमों के प्रति किया गया जागरूक

गुमला : – गुमला जिला मुख्यालय में (02 फरवरी 2026 ) सड़क दुर्घटनाओं में कमी लाने और आम जनमानस में यातायात नियमों के प्रति जागरूकता फैलाने के उद्देश्य से आज गुमला जिले में एक विशेष अभियान चलाया गया। जिला परिवहन पदाधिकारी (DTO) ज्ञान शंकर जायसवाल के निर्देशानुसार, जिले के विभिन्न थानों द्वारा सघन वाहन जाँच अभियान चलाया गया, जिसमें मुख्य रूप से बिना हेलमेट मोटरसाइकिल चलाने वालों पर सख्ती बरती गई।

*अभियान का उद्देश्य: इस अभियान का मुख्य उद्देश्य केवल जुर्माना वसूलना नहीं, बल्कि वाहन चालकों की मानसिकता में बदलाव लाना था। विभिन्न थानों के द्वारा चेकिंग के दौरान लगभग 40 से 50 ऐसे मोटरसाइकिल चालकों को रोका गया जो बिना हेलमेट यात्रा कर रहे थे।*

*रोड सेफ्टी काउंसलिंग: पकड़े गए सभी चालकों को एक जगह एकत्रित कर सड़क सुरक्षा टीम (Road Safety Team) द्वारा उनकी काउंसलिंग की गई। इस सत्र में उन्हें समझाया गया कि हेलमेट और सीट बेल्ट महज कानूनी बाध्यता नहीं, बल्कि जीवन रक्षा के अनिवार्य उपकरण हैं।*

*चालकों को बताया कि एक छोटी सी लापरवाही न केवल उनकी जान ले सकती है, बल्कि उनके पूरे परिवार को संकट में डाल सकती है।*

*सुरक्षा उपकरण: हेलमेट को सही तरीके से पहनने (स्ट्रैप लगाकर) और चौपहिया वाहन चलाते समय सीट बेल्ट के उपयोग की अनिवार्यता पर जोर दिया गया।*

*दुर्घटना न्यूनीकरण: बताया गया कि अधिकांश जानलेवा दुर्घटनाएं सिर में चोट लगने के कारण होती हैं, जिसे हेलमेट के प्रयोग से काफी हद तक रोका जा सकता है।*

अधिकारियों का संदेश
जिला परिवहन पदाधिकारी के निर्देश पर आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम के माध्यम से यह स्पष्ट संदेश दिया गया कि प्रशासन का उद्देश्य चालकों को परेशान करना नहीं, बल्कि उनकी सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करना है। चालकों को शपथ दिलाई गई कि वे भविष्य में यातायात नियमों का पूर्ण पालन करेंगे और अपने परिचितों को भी इसके लिए प्रेरित करेंगे।
सड़क सुरक्षा टीम ने अपील की है कि नागरिक पुलिस के डर से नहीं, बल्कि अपनी और दूसरों की सुरक्षा के लिए नियमों का पालन करें। प्रशासन द्वारा इस तरह के जागरूकता अभियान आगे भी जारी रहेंगे।
