क्यों बढ़ रही है आत्महत्याओं की घटनाये ? इस पर आवश्यक होगा समाज के प्रबुद्ध लोगों को चिंतन करना

गुमला : – गुमला सदर थाना क्षेत्र के अलग-अलग गांवों से आई आत्महत्या की खबरें फलस्वरूप पूरे क्षेत्रों को झकझोर कर रख दिया। एक ओर जहां एक परिवार का सहारा छिन गया, वहीं दूसरी ओर एक घर अचानक सूना हो गया। दोनों ही मामलों में फांसी लगाकर आत्महत्या किए जाने की पुष्टि हुई है। पहली घटना मुरकुंडा पंचायत के कोलांबी गांव की है। यहां 40 वर्षीय नवीन खड़िया ने अपने ही घर में फांसी लगाकर अपनी जीवन लिला समाप्त कर ली । ग्रामीणों के अनुसार नवीन पिछले कुछ दिनों से मानसिक रूप से परेशान चल रहा था । बताया जा रहा है कि बीते एक सप्ताह से उनकी मानसिक स्थिति ठीक नहीं थी। घटना के दिन देररात्रि तक जब कोई हलचल नहीं हुई तो परिजनों को अनहोनी की आशंका हुई, तब उक्त घटना की जानकारी पंचायत की मुखिया वीणा कुमारी को दी गई, जिन्होंने तत्काल सदर थाना पुलिस गुमला को सूचित किया, उक्त सूचना मिलते ही गुमला सदर थाना पुलिस ने त्वरित कार्रवाई करते हुए अपने दलबल के साथ मौके पर पहुंचकर अपने देख-देख में उक्त शव को कब्जे में लेते हुए,पोस्टमार्टम के लिए गुमला सदर अस्पताल स्थित पोस्टमार्टम हाउस भेजा गया , नवीन खड़िया अपने परिवार के एकमात्र कमाऊ सदस्य था । मृतक की पत्नी बिरसमुनी इंदवार का रो-रोकर बुरा हाल है, 8 वर्षीय छोटे पुत्र के सिर से पिता का साया उठ जाने से पूरा गांव शोक में डूबा हुआ है। वही गुमला सदर थाना क्षेत्र में दूसरी घटना पुग्गु पंचायत के खोपाटोली गांव से सामने आई है। यहां 45 वर्षीय कल्पना केरकेट्टा ने अपने घर में फांसी लगाकर आत्महत्या कर ली। मृतका के पति विजय केरकेट्टा के अनुसार घटना के समय घर में कोई मौजूद नहीं था। जब वे लौटे तो अंदर का दृश्य देख स्तब्ध रह गए। बाद में उक्त सूचना पुलिस को दी गई, गुमला सदर थाना पुलिस ने घटना की सूचनामिलते ही त्वरित करवाई करते हुए अपने दल बल के साथ घटनास्थल पर पहुंची और शव को अपने कब्जे में लेते हुए और उक्त शव को पोस्टमार्टम हेतु और आवश्यक कानूनी प्रक्रिया पूरी करते हुए , उक्त शव को गुमला सदर अस्पताल स्थित पोस्टमार्टम हाउस भिजवाया गया और पोस्टमार्टम के बाद उक्त शव को उसके परिजनों को सौंप दिया गया, गुमला जिले में हाल के दिनों में आत्महत्या के मामलों में लगातार वृद्धि देखी जा रही है। बीते कुछ सप्ताहों में चैनपुर, सिसई और बसिया थाना क्षेत्रों से भी आत्महत्या की कई घटनाएं सामने आ चुकी हैं। कहीं पारिवारिक तनाव, कहीं मानसिक अवसाद तो कहीं आर्थिक दबाव इन घटनाओं के पीछे कारण बताए जा रहे हैं। लगातार बढ़ रही ऐसी घटनाएं न सिर्फ प्रशासन बल्कि समाज के लिए भी गंभीर चिंता का विषय बन गई हैं। जानकारों का मानना है कि मानसिक स्वास्थ्य को लेकर जागरूकता, समय पर परामर्श और पारिवारिक सहयोग से ऐसी त्रासद घटनाओं को काफी हद तक रोका जा सकता है। फिलहाल दोनों घटनाओं के बाद पूरे क्षेत्र में मातमी सन्नाटा पसरा हुआ है और लोग एक-दूसरे से यही सवाल कर रहे हैं कि आखिर कब थमेगा यह सिलसिला।
