उपायुक्त की अध्यक्षता में फाइलेरिया मुक्त अभियान अंतर्गत एमडीए कार्यक्रम की समीक्षा

गुमला : – गुमला उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित की अध्यक्षता में आज वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के माध्यम से स्वास्थ्य विभाग अंतर्गत संचालित फाइलेरिया मुक्त अभियान के तहत मास ड्रग एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन (MDA) कार्यक्रम की समीक्षा बैठक आयोजित की गई।

समीक्षा के दौरान अवगत कराया गया कि प्राप्त कल की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार अब तक 83.97 प्रतिशत नागरिकों द्वारा एमडीए की दवा का सेवन किया जा चुका है। राज्य सरकार से प्राप्त मार्गदर्शन के आलोक में उपायुक्त ने स्पष्ट निर्देश दिया कि अभियान को तब तक निरंतर जारी रखा जाए जब तक कि 95 प्रतिशत से अधिक लक्षित नागरिकों द्वारा दवा का सेवन सुनिश्चित न हो जाए।
समीक्षा के क्रम में डुमरी, घाघरा, भरनो एवं बसिया प्रखंडों की प्रगति पर असंतोष व्यक्त किया गया। संबंधित प्रखंडों को विशेष रणनीति बनाकर डोर-टू-डोर संपर्क, पुनः भ्रमण एवं जागरूकता गतिविधियों के माध्यम से अधिकाधिक लोगों को दवा सेवन सुनिश्चित कराने के निर्देश दिए गए।
उपायुक्त ने सभी प्रखंड विकास पदाधिकारियों को अपने स्तर से सतत मॉनिटरिंग करने तथा अभियान को शत-प्रतिशत लक्ष्य की दिशा में अग्रसर करने का निर्देश दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि फाइलेरिया उन्मूलन एक जनस्वास्थ्य से जुड़ा महत्वपूर्ण अभियान है, जिसमें सभी विभागों के समन्वित प्रयास की आवश्यकता है।

बैठक में सिविल सर्जन , गुमला, जिला शिक्षा अधीक्षक, गुमला, जिला आपूर्ति पदाधिकारी, गुमला सहित स्वास्थ्य विभाग की टीम वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के माध्यम से जुड़ी रही।

उपायुक्त ने जिले के समस्त नागरिकों से अपील की है कि वे एमडीए अभियान के तहत वितरित की जा रही दवा का सेवन अवश्य करें एवं फाइलेरिया मुक्त गुमला के लक्ष्य को प्राप्त करने में सहयोग प्रदान करें। यह दवा पूरी तरह से सुरक्षित है एवं नागरिकों को फाइलेरिया जैसी गंभीर बीमारी से बचाव के लिए ही बनी है।
