विशेष रक्तदान शिविर आयोजित, उपायुक्त ने स्वयं रक्तदान कर दिया मानवीय सेवा का संदेश

गुमला : – गुमला उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित के निर्देश के आलोक में चंदौली स्थित समाहरणालय परिसर, गुमला में विशेष रक्तदान शिविर का आयोजन किया गया। शिविर का उद्देश्य जरूरतमंद मरीजों, विशेषकर सिकल सेल एवं थैलेसीमिया से जूझ रहे बच्चों तथा गर्भवती महिलाओं के लिए रक्त की उपलब्धता सुनिश्चित करना था।
इस अवसर पर उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित ने स्वयं रक्तदान कर समाज के प्रति संवेदनशीलता और मानवीय सेवा का संदेश दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि रक्तदान केवल एक चिकित्सा आवश्यकता ही नहीं, बल्कि मानवता की सेवा का सर्वोत्तम उदाहरण है।
शिविर में जिले के वरीय पदाधिकारियों, कर्मियों तथा पुलिस पदाधिकारियों एवं कर्मियों ने भी बढ़-चढ़कर भाग लेते हुए स्वैच्छिक रक्तदान किया। इस दौरान कुल 21 यूनिट रक्त संग्रहित किया गया।

उपायुक्त ने जिले के नागरिकों से अपील करते हुए कहा कि जिले में सिकल सेल एवं थैलेसीमिया से पीड़ित बच्चों तथा अन्य जरूरतमंद मरीजों को समय-समय पर रक्त की आवश्यकता पड़ती है। ऐसे में स्वैच्छिक रक्तदान के माध्यम से हम सभी किसी के जीवन को बचाने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा सकते हैं, क्योंकि रक्तदान महादान यज्ञ है।
उन्होंने कहा कि “आपका एक यूनिट रक्त किसी की पूरी जिंदगी बचा सकता है।” इसलिए सभी नागरिकों से समय-समय पर आगे आकर रक्तदान करने तथा इस पुनीत कार्य में सहभागी बनने की अपील की गई।

जिला प्रशासन द्वारा लोगों को रक्तदान के प्रति जागरूक करने तथा अधिक से अधिक नागरिकों की भागीदारी सुनिश्चित करने के लिए निरंतर प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं, ताकि जरूरतमंदों को समय पर रक्त उपलब्ध कराया जा सके और समाज में सेवा एवं सहयोग की भावना को और सशक्त बनाया जा सके।
