ऐसे तो नहीं जाने वाले हैं मोदी

गांठ बांध कर रख लीजिये, मजाक उड़ाने से, मीम या कार्टून बनाने से, कोसने या स्यापा करने से मोदी नहीं जाने वाले. उनकी लोकप्रियता में और इजाफा हो रहा है. यदि उन्हें इन बातों से कोई फर्क पड़ने वाला होता, तो पूरी क्रूरता से वे उनका दमन करते, जो यह सब कर रहे हैं. लेकिन कठोर सच है कि इन बातों से उन्हें कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता. उलटे उनके समर्थकों में उनके प्रति आस्था और बढ़ती जाती है. और हम भी मोदी के खिलाफ भड़ास निकाल कर आत्मतोष का अनुभव करते हैं.

आप कहेंगे, लोकप्रियता में कमी तो आयी है, लेकिन इवीएम और चुनावी धांधली से वे चुनाव जीत रहे हैं. ठीक है, वही सही. तब तो एक तरफ उनके खिलाफ मीम बनते रहेंगे और दूसरी तरफ वे चुनाव जीतते रहेंगे. सिर्फ चुनावी धांधली से 27 लाख लोगों का वोट काट कर बंगाल जैसा अभेद्य किला उन्होंने भेद डाला. चलिये, यह आरोप भी सही, लेकिन वे 27 लाख मतदाता कहां हैं जिनके वोट कटे? न सही 27 लाख, अगर एक लाख लोग भी सड़क पर उतर आते तो कल्पना करें, क्या होता?

मैं रवीश कुमार को और अन्य कई यू ट्यूबरों को पिछले चार-पांच वर्षों से हर रोज मोदी की बखिया उधेड़ते सुनता हूं. सुनता हूं कि देश का लोकतंत्र खत्म हो चुका है. देश में तानाशाही है. भ्रष्टाचार चरम पर है. सुनने में अच्छा लगता है. संतोष भी मिलता है. लेकिन यह भी सोचता हूं कि उनका श्रोता कौन है?

सामान्यतः मध्यम वर्ग और मध्यम वर्ग तो मोदी का परम भक्त है. बौद्धिक विमर्शों में भले वह मोदी के खिलाफ बोले. लेकिन शोषण और उत्पीड़न पर टिकी इस व्यवस्था के गर्भनाल से कस कर जुड़े इस तबके से आप कोई उम्मीद कैसे कर सकते हैं?

ठीक है, युवाओं को काकरोच कहना गलत है. लेकिन युवाओं का एक बड़ा हिस्सा इन बातों से निर्लिप्त है और अपनी रोजी-रोटी की कमाई में लगा है. सच पूछिये तो बेरोजगार वही शिक्षित तबका है जो सरकार और अर्द्ध सरकारी संस्थाओं में एक अदद नौकरी के लिए परेशान है. और इस तबके का भी बड़ा हिस्सा अर्थ व्यवस्था के रसातल में जाने के बावजूद मोदी का परम भक्त है. समाज के निम्न वर्ग और निम्न आर्थिक तबके के लिए उनमें गहरी नफरत भरी है.

आप कहेंगे कि मैं निराशाजनक बातें कर रहा हूं. हो सकता है. लेकिन मैं अपने हिसाब से आज की सच्चाई बयां कर रहा हूं. बदलाव तो तभी आयेगा जब इस सिस्टम के खिलाफ सड़कों पर हाथ लहराते लोग निकलेंगे, जैसा 74 के बिहार आंदोलन के समय निकले थे. लेकिन वह जमाना अब नहीं रहा. उस वक्त मिडिल क्लास आंदोलन की अग्रिम पंक्ति में था. अब मिडिल क्लास आर्थिक रूप से संपन्न होकर उच्च वर्ग की तरफ अग्रसर है. अभी तो वह इसी बात को लेकर उन्माद में भरा है कि मोदी ने मुसलमानों को उनकी औकात बता दी. हिदू धर्म का उत्थान कर रहे हैं.

भारतीय मीडिया तुरंत हमें देशभक्ति का इंजेक्शन लगा देगा

मेन स्ट्रीम मीडिया के एंकर-एंकरनियों को कभी व्यवस्था (सिस्टम) में कोई खोट ही नहीं दिखता. नॉर्वे की महिला पत्रकार ने एक सवाल पूछ लिया तो पूरा भक्त समाज (गोदी मीडिया-अंधभक्त) ऐसे भड़क गया जैसे किसी ने व्हाट्सऐप यूनिवर्सिटी का सर्वर बंद कर दिया हो। सवाल पूछा गया, जवाब नहीं मिला, प्रधानमंत्री जी वहां से ऐसे निकले जैसे स्कूल का बच्चा होमवर्क पूछने पर बाथरूम भाग जाता है। फिर भारतीय मीडिया ने तुरंत देशभक्ति का इंजेक्शन लगा दिया  कि भारत की छवि खराब हो गई. फिर तो पूरा नरेटिव ही बदल जाता है और इस तरह मुद्दे गायब हो जाते हैं.

अरे भाई, जिस नॉर्वे की प्रेस फ्रीडम दुनिया में टॉप पर घूमती है, वहां की पत्रकार सवाल पूछ रही थी। और यहां भारत 157वें नंबर पर बैठा पत्रकारिता का ज्ञान दे रहा है। इसपर कोई सवाल नहीं करेगा कि इन पांच दिनों में देश को क्या मिला।

सच कहूं तो भारत की राजनीति अब कम और इंस्टाग्राम इन्फ्लुएंसर संस्कृति ज्यादा लगने लगी है।

और रही नीचे की विशाल आबादी?

दरअसल, भारतीय समाज हमेशा से राजा और प्रजा के रूप में विभाजित रहा है. और प्रजा की समझ यही रही है कि राजा कोई हो, हमें क्या फर्क पड़ता है. भीषण विषमता ने आज भी समाज को दो खेमों में विभाजित कर रखा है- संगठित क्षेत्र और असंगठित क्षेत्र / हैव और हैव नाट्टस, खाया-पीया अघाया समाज और हर रोज के भोजन के लिए खटता समाज. तो बड़ा तबका राजनीतिक भ्रष्टाचार, लाकतंत्र के क्षरण, आर्थिक बदहाली से उदासीन है. राहर के दाल की कीमत दो-चार रुपये कम भी हो जाये, तो वह भात-सब्जी के साथ ही खाता है. सत्ता में कोई भी आये, उसके आर्थिक हालात नहीं सुधरने वाले. उसे हर दिन के भोजन के लिए खटना और कमाना है और इसी में मौका निकाल थोड़ा हंस, गा लेना है.

हमें इस बात की प्रतीक्षा करनी होगी या इसके लिए प्रयास करना होगा कि वह तबका मानवीय गरिमा के साथ जीने के अधिकार के लिए सड़कों पर उतरे और वर्तमान सत्ता को उखाड़ फेंके. उसके पहले तो हमें हुक्मरानों को ज्ञापन और आवेदन देकर ही काम चलाना होगा.
