गोमिया में नवविवाहिता की संदिग्ध मौत, दहेज प्रताड़ना का आरोप; कार्रवाई की मांग को लेकर सड़क जाम

गोमिया—-बेरमो अनुमंडल के तेनुघाट ओपी क्षेत्र के घरवाटांड़ गांव की एक नवविवाहिता की अपने मायके में संदिग्ध परिस्थितियों में मौत हो गई। मृतका की पहचान पिंकी कुमारी के रूप में हुई है। घटना के बाद परिजनों में शोक और आक्रोश का माहौल है।
मृतका के भाई सुधीर यादव ने गोमिया थाना में आवेदन देकर पति संतोष यादव एवं ससुराल पक्ष के अन्य लोगों पर विवाह के बाद से दहेज की अतिरिक्त मांग को लेकर मानसिक और शारीरिक प्रताड़ना का आरोप लगाया है। परिजनों का कहना है कि लगातार प्रताड़ना से परेशान होकर पिंकी ने यह कदम उठाया।
घटना से आक्रोशित परिजनों और ग्रामीणों ने आरोपितों की शीघ्र गिरफ्तारी की मांग को लेकर गोमिया थाना क्षेत्र के पोस्ट ऑफिस मोड़ पर शव रखकर सड़क जाम कर दिया। जाम के कारण दोनों ओर वाहनों की लंबी कतार लग गई और आवागमन प्रभावित रहा।
स्थिति की गंभीरता को देखते हुए गोमिया थाना प्रभारी प्रफुल्ल महतो, आईईएल थाना प्रभारी श्यामलाल मंडल, तेनुघाट ओपी प्रभारी भजनलाल महतो तथा कथारा ओपी प्रभारी राजेश प्रजापति पुलिस बल के साथ मौके पर पहुंचे। अधिकारियों ने परिजनों और ग्रामीणों से वार्ता कर उन्हें शांत कराने तथा जाम हटवाने का प्रयास किया।
पुलिस का कहना है कि परिजनों की शिकायत के आधार पर मामले की जांच शुरू कर दी गई है। जांच के बाद जो भी तथ्य सामने आएंगे, उसके अनुसार कानूनसम्मत कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
घटना के बाद पूरे क्षेत्र में शोक का माहौल है। वहीं परिजन दोषियों की शीघ्र गिरफ्तारी और निष्पक्ष जांच की मांग पर अड़े हुए हैं।
