जीवन परियोजना के एक वर्ष की प्रगति एवं आधारभूत सर्वेक्षण प्रतिवेदन पर समीक्षात्मक बैठक आयोजित

गुमला : – गुमला उपायुक्त दिलेश्वर महत्तो की अध्यक्षता में शनिवार को समाहरणालय स्थित सभागार में महिला एवं बाल विकास विभाग एवं स्वास्थ्य विभाग के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में राज्य सरकार द्वारा अनुमोदित ‘जीवन परियोजना’ के एक वर्ष की प्रगति एवं आधारभूत सर्वेक्षण प्रतिवेदन के संबंध में समीक्षात्मक बैठक आयोजित की गई। बैठक में उप विकास आयुक्त अनिमेष रंजन, सिविल सर्जन डॉ. शंभूनाथ चौधरी, विभिन्न बाल विकास परियोजना पदाधिकारी, राष्ट्रीय स्वास्थ्य मिशन के पदाधिकारी तथा एकजुट संस्था के प्रतिनिधि उपस्थित थे।

बैठक के दौरान जीवन परियोजना के तहत विगत एक वर्ष में संचालित गतिविधियों, उनके प्रभाव एवं आधारभूत सर्वेक्षण के निष्कर्षों की विस्तृत समीक्षा की गई। उपायुक्त ने कहा कि टाटा ट्रस्ट के सहयोग से जुलाई 2025 से जिले में संचालित यह परियोजना ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में शून्य से छह वर्ष तक के बच्चों तथा गर्भवती एवं धात्री महिलाओं के स्वास्थ्य एवं पोषण स्तर में सुधार लाने की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण पहल है।

उन्होंने कहा कि समेकित बाल विकास सेवा (आईसीडीएस) एवं स्वास्थ्य विभाग के समन्वय से संचालित इस परियोजना के अंतर्गत आंगनबाड़ी सेविकाओं एवं सहायिकाओं को पोषण, बाल विकास एवं वृद्धि निगरानी संबंधी प्रशिक्षण प्रदान किया गया है। इसके अतिरिक्त संयुक्त गृह भ्रमण, ग्राम स्वास्थ्य, स्वच्छता एवं पोषण दिवस के आयोजन में सहयोग, सामुदायिक जागरूकता कार्यक्रम तथा आंगनबाड़ी केंद्रों में पोषण वाटिकाओं की स्थापना जैसे अनेक नवाचारात्मक प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं।

बैठक में द जॉर्ज इंस्टीट्यूट द्वारा तैयार आधारभूत सर्वेक्षण प्रतिवेदन प्रस्तुत किया गया। प्रतिवेदन में जिले के ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में बच्चों एवं माताओं के पोषण, स्वास्थ्य संबंधी व्यवहार, जागरूकता के स्तर तथा सुधार की संभावनाओं से जुड़े महत्वपूर्ण तथ्यों को साझा किया गया। साथ ही परियोजना के आगामी चरणों में विभागीय समन्वय को और सुदृढ़ करने तथा समुदाय की सहभागिता बढ़ाने पर बल दिया गया।

सिविल सर्जन डॉ. शंभूनाथ चौधरी ने कहा कि ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में कुपोषण की चुनौती से निपटने तथा बच्चों एवं माताओं के बेहतर स्वास्थ्य के लिए एकजुट संस्था द्वारा सराहनीय कार्य किया जा रहा है। वहीं, डुमरी की महिला पर्यवेक्षिका ने आंगनबाड़ी केंद्रों में बच्चों की लंबाई के सटीक मापन के लिए इन्फैन्टोमीटर उपलब्ध कराने का सुझाव दिया।

बैठक के दौरान बताया गया कि एकजुट संस्था के सहयोग से पोषण पुनर्वास केंद्र (एमटीसी) में कुपोषित बच्चों के नामांकन में वृद्धि हुई है। उपायुक्त ने संबंधित विभागों को निर्देश दिया कि जीवन परियोजना के उद्देश्यों को धरातल पर प्रभावी ढंग से क्रियान्वित करने के लिए आपसी समन्वय एवं नियमित निगरानी सुनिश्चित की जाए, ताकि जिले में मातृ एवं शिशु स्वास्थ्य संकेतकों में अपेक्षित सुधार लाया जा सके।
