गुमला (ब्यूरो प्रमुख ) – गणपत लाल चौरसिया
गुमला : – गुमला सदर थाना क्षेत्र स्थित दाऊद नगर में एक 35 वर्षीय युवक विनीत एक्का ने अपने घर में फांसी फंदा लगाकर खुदकुशी कर ली। सूचना मिलते ही गुमला सदर थाना ने त्वरित कार्रवाई करते हुए सदर थाना के एसआई अरविंद कुमार ने अपने दल बल के साथ घटनास्थल पर पहुंचे और परिजनों एवं संबंधित लोगों से छानबीन करते हुए, सर्वप्रथम सदर थाना पुलिस ने उक्त शव को अपने कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम हेतू उक्त शव को गुमला सदर अस्पताल स्थित पोस्टमार्टम हाउस भेजवाया गया और मामले की छानबीन के क्रम में मृतक के पिता बेंजामिन एक्का ने पुलिस को बताया की वे वर्तमान में जवाहर नगर, चेन्नई, तमिलनाडु में रहते हैं। कुछ दिन पहले ही वे गुमला आए थे, उन्होंने बताया की विनीत एक्का लंबे समय तक चेन्नई में रहा था, फलस्वरूप उसका गुमला में मन नहीं लग रहा था,और वह वापस चेन्नई जाना चाह रहा था , इसी अवसाद और डिप्रेशन में था। बुधवार रात उनका पुत्र विनीत एक्का दूसरे कमरे में था और दरवाजा अंदर से बंद था। वे बगल के कमरे में सो रहे थे, उसकी माँ जब आवाज दी,परन्तु उसका कोई जवाब नहीं मिला, तो खिड़की से झांककर देखा तो वह फांसी के फंदे से लटका हुआ था,फिर परिजनों ने दरवाजा तोड़कर अंदर प्रवेश किया और विनीत एक्का जो घर के एल्वेस्टर के पाइप के सहारे रस्सी के फांसी के फंदे पर लटका हुआ मिला, इसके बाद पुलिस को सूचना दी गई और जिस पर त्वरित कार्रवाई करते हुए, गुमला सदर थाना के एसआई मंटू कुमार सिंह अपने दल बल के साथ सदर अस्पताल में पहुंच कर और कानूनी प्रक्रिया पूर्ण कर उक्त शव को पोस्टमार्टम हाउस भिजवाया गया , पुलिस के अनुसार, युवक द्वारा खुदकुशी किए जाने के कारणों का फिलहाल खुलासा नहीं हो सका है। पुलिस मामले की गहनता से जांच कर रही है। पोस्टमार्टम के बाद उक्त शव को उसके परिजनों को सौप दिया गया।
