उपायुक्त, गुमला के निर्देशों के आलोक में फाइलेरिया से गंभीर रूप से प्रभावित चार मरीजों को रायडीह प्रखंड में व्हीलचेयर उपलब्ध कराया गया

गुमला : – गुमला उपायुक्त दिलेश्वर महत्तो के निर्देशों के आलोक में फाइलेरिया (लिम्फेडेमा) के उन्नत (Advanced) चरण से प्रभावित एवं चलने-फिरने में गंभीर कठिनाई का सामना कर रहे रायडीह प्रखंड के चार चिन्हित मरीजों को आज जिला प्रशासन एवं प्रखंड प्रशासन के समन्वित प्रयास से व्हीलचेयर उपलब्ध कराई गई।

व्हीलचेयर प्राप्त करने वाले लाभार्थियों में नीलम साहू, चरवा उरांव, लियोस टोप्पो एवं अनीमा तिर्की शामिल हैं। फाइलेरिया के कारण इन सभी मरीजों के पैरों में अत्यधिक सूजन होने से उनकी गतिशीलता गंभीर रूप से प्रभावित हो गई थी, जिसके कारण दैनिक जीवन के सामान्य कार्यों का निष्पादन भी उनके लिए अत्यंत कठिन हो गया था। व्हीलचेयर उपलब्ध होने से अब उन्हें आवागमन में सुविधा मिलेगी तथा उनके दैनिक जीवन को अधिक सहज, सम्मानजनक एवं आत्मनिर्भर बनाने में सहायता मिलेगी।

इस अवसर पर प्रखंड विकास पदाधिकारी प्रधान हंसदक, महिला पर्यवेक्षिका आयुषी कुमारी, अंचल अधिकारी प्रदीप कुमार एवं अनुसेवक विजय कुमार उपस्थित रहे। सभी पदाधिकारियों ने लाभार्थियों का उत्साहवर्धन करते हुए उनके बेहतर स्वास्थ्य एवं गरिमापूर्ण जीवन की कामना की तथा जरूरतमंद व्यक्तियों तक आवश्यक सहायता पहुँचाने के प्रति अपनी प्रतिबद्धता व्यक्त की।

इस पहल को सफल बनाने में पिरामल फाउंडेशन की टीम ने पात्र मरीजों की पहचान, जिला एवं प्रखंड प्रशासन के साथ आवश्यक समन्वय तथा पूरी प्रक्रिया को सुगम बनाने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई।

फाइलेरिया से प्रभावित गंभीर मरीजों की आवश्यकताओं को ध्यान में रखते हुए जिला एवं प्रखंड प्रशासन द्वारा भविष्य में भी ऐसे पात्र एवं चिन्हित लाभार्थियों के मामलों का उपलब्ध संसाधनों एवं प्रचलित सरकारी प्रावधानों के अनुरूप परीक्षण करते हुए, आवश्यकता के आधार पर व्हीलचेयर अथवा ट्राइसाइकिल जैसे सहायक उपकरण उपलब्ध कराने की संभावनाओं पर विचार किया जाएगा।

फाइलेरिया केवल एक स्वास्थ्य संबंधी चुनौती नहीं है, बल्कि अनेक प्रभावित परिवारों के लिए सामाजिक एवं आर्थिक कठिनाइयों का भी कारण बन जाता है। ऐसे में प्रशासन, स्वास्थ्य विभाग एवं सहयोगी संस्थाओं के समन्वित प्रयास प्रभावित व्यक्तियों को सम्मानजनक, सुगम एवं अधिक आत्मनिर्भर जीवन जीने का अवसर प्रदान करते हैं। यह पहल उसी दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण एवं संवेदनशील कदम है।
