सीबीएसई ईस्ट ज़ोन जूडो में पिट्स मॉडर्न स्कूल का शानदार प्रदर्शन, दो छात्राओं का राष्ट्रीय प्रतियोगिता के के लिए चयन।

गोमिया—पिट्स मॉडर्न स्कूल, गोमिया की छात्राओं ने सीबीएसई ईस्ट ज़ोन जूडो चैंपियनशिप 2026-27 में शानदार प्रदर्शन कर विद्यालय और क्षेत्र का नाम रोशन किया है। 27 से 30 जुलाई तक प्रयागराज स्थित गुरुकुल मॉन्टेसरी स्कूल में आयोजित प्रतियोगिता में विद्यालय की छात्राओं ने विभिन्न आयु वर्गों में तीन पदक जीतकर अपनी प्रतिभा का लोहा मनवाया।
अंडर-14 के 23 किलोग्राम वर्ग में मिष्ठी कुमारी ने स्वर्ण पदक, अंडर-19 के 36 किलोग्राम वर्ग में सपना भारती ने रजत पदक तथा अंडर-17 के 44 किलोग्राम वर्ग में सुरभि राज ने कांस्य पदक हासिल किया। उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन के आधार पर मिष्ठी कुमारी एवं सपना भारती का चयन सीबीएसई राष्ट्रीय जूडो चैंपियनशिप के लिए हुआ है। यह प्रतियोगिता 29 सितंबर से 4 अक्टूबर 2026 तक कन्नूर (हरियाणा) में आयोजित होगी।
शनिवार को विद्यालय की प्रार्थना सभा में प्राचार्य बृज मोहन लाल दास ने विजेता छात्राओं को पदक एवं प्रमाण-पत्र प्रदान कर सम्मानित किया। समारोह में उपस्थित विद्यार्थियों और शिक्षकों ने तालियों की गड़गड़ाहट के साथ खिलाड़ियों का उत्साहवर्धन किया। विद्यालय प्रबंधन ने छात्राओं को स्मृति-चिह्न भेंट कर सम्मानित किया तथा उनके अभिभावकों को भी विशेष रूप से आमंत्रित किया। इस अवसर पर मिठाइयां वितरित कर खुशी का इजहार किया गया।
छात्राओं की इस सफलता का श्रेय उनकी कड़ी मेहनत के साथ-साथ जूडो कोच खुशी सिंह के समर्पित प्रशिक्षण और मार्गदर्शन को दिया गया। उनके निर्देशन में छात्राओं ने यह उल्लेखनीय उपलब्धि हासिल की।
प्राचार्य बृज मोहन लाल दास ने कहा कि छात्राओं की सफलता उनके अनुशासन, कठिन परिश्रम और दृढ़ संकल्प का परिणाम है। उन्होंने राष्ट्रीय प्रतियोगिता के लिए चयनित खिलाड़ियों को शुभकामनाएं देते हुए विश्वास जताया कि वे राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर भी विद्यालय और क्षेत्र का नाम रोशन करेंगी।
गोमिया स्कूल सोसाइटी के उपाध्यक्ष अरिंदम दासगुप्ता ने कहा कि विद्यालय शिक्षा के साथ-साथ खेलों में उत्कृष्टता को भी समान महत्व देता है और यह उपलब्धि उसी सोच का परिणाम है। वहीं आईईपीएल (ओरिका), गोमिया के एमसीएम अभिषेक बिस्वास ने पदक विजेता छात्राओं एवं उनकी कोच को बधाई देते हुए राष्ट्रीय प्रतियोगिता में बेहतर प्रदर्शन की शुभकामनाएं दी।
