छह साल बाद भी नहीं मिला जीपीएफ का बकाया, पेंशनर कल्याण समाज ने मंत्री से लगाई गुहार

गोमिया— सेवानिवृत्ति के छह वर्ष बाद भी सामान्य भविष्य निधि (जीपीएफ) की राशि का भुगतान नहीं होने पर झारखंड पेंशनर कल्याण समाज, अनुमंडल शाखा तेनुघाट ने पेयजल एवं स्वच्छता विभाग के मंत्री से हस्तक्षेप की मांग की है। समाज के अध्यक्ष इंदेश्वरी चौबे ने इस संबंध में पत्र भेजकर शीघ्र अद्यतन ब्याज सहित भुगतान सुनिश्चित कराने की अपील की है।
पत्र में कहा गया है कि कार्यभार स्थापना में कार्यरत रहे नलकूप खलासी उपेंद्र मांझी के मासिक वेतन से वर्ष 1981 से 1986 तक सामान्य भविष्य निधि (जीपीएफ) के अंशदान की राशि नियमित रूप से काटी गई थी। आरोप है कि उक्त राशि का भुगतान करने के बजाय कार्यपालक अभियंता की ओर से अनावश्यक पत्राचार कर मामले को लंबित रखा जा रहा है, जिससे विभाग पर ब्याज का अतिरिक्त बोझ भी बढ़ रहा है।
बताया गया कि उपेंद्र मांझी 31 दिसंबर 2020 को सेवानिवृत्त हो चुके हैं। इसके बावजूद वे सेवा काल से लेकर अब तक अपने जीपीएफ भुगतान के लिए लगातार अनुरोध करते रहे हैं, लेकिन अब तक राशि का भुगतान नहीं हो सका है। पेंशनर कल्याण समाज ने इसे गंभीर लापरवाही बताते हुए विभागीय स्तर पर तत्काल कार्रवाई की मांग की है।
समाज के अध्यक्ष इंदेश्वरी चौबे ने मंत्री से आग्रह किया है कि संबंधित अधिकारियों को आवश्यक निर्देश देकर उपेंद्र मांझी के लंबित जीपीएफ का अद्यतन ब्याज सहित शीघ्र भुगतान सुनिश्चित कराया जाए। उन्होंने चेतावनी दी है कि यदि जल्द समाधान नहीं हुआ तो बाध्य होकर न्यायालय की शरण ली जाएगी।
