गोमिया___ गोमिया प्रखंड अंतर्गत कंडेर में आयोजित लाठी खेल प्रतियोगिता में रविवार को ग्रामीण संस्कृति और पारंपरिक खेलों की जीवंत झलक देखने को मिली। बड़ी संख्या में ग्रामीणों की मौजूदगी में आयोजित प्रतियोगिता ने लोगों का खूब मनोरंजन किया। कार्यक्रम के दौरान पेयजल एवं स्वच्छता तथा उत्पाद एवं मद्य निषेध विभाग के मंत्री योगेंद्र प्रसाद ने स्वयं लाठी खेल में हाथ आजमाकर खिलाड़ियों का उत्साह बढ़ाया।
मंत्री ने कहा कि लाठी खेल हमारी लोक परंपरा, सांस्कृतिक पहचान और आपसी एकजुटता का प्रतीक है। ऐसे आयोजन ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में पारंपरिक खेलों को जीवित रखने के साथ-साथ युवाओं को अपनी संस्कृति से जोड़ने का काम करते हैं। उन्होंने प्रतियोगिता में शामिल खिलाड़ियों का उत्साहवर्धन करते हुए बेहतर प्रदर्शन के लिए शुभकामनाएं दीं।
प्रतियोगिता में विभिन्न टीमों ने लाठी कला का शानदार प्रदर्शन किया। खिलाड़ियों के रोमांचक करतब देखकर मैदान में मौजूद दर्शक उत्साहित नजर आए। आयोजन के दौरान ग्रामीणों ने अतिथियों का फूल-माला पहनाकर स्वागत किया।
आयोजकों ने कहा कि आधुनिक खेलों के दौर में पारंपरिक खेलों को मंच देना हमारी जिम्मेदारी है। ऐसे आयोजनों से नई पीढ़ी को अपनी लोक संस्कृति और विरासत से परिचित कराने में मदद मिलती है।
मौके पर गोमिया अंचल अधिकारी आफताब आलम, महुआटांड़ थाना प्रभारी कृष्ण कुमार कुशवाहा समेत कई स्थानीय जनप्रतिनिधि, आयोजक एवं बड़ी संख्या में ग्रामीण मौजूद थे। कार्यक्रम के सफल आयोजन को लेकर ग्रामीणों ने आयोजकों की सराहना की।
