गुमला में ‘स्मैश थॉन 2.0’ बैडमिंटन प्रतियोगिता का भव्य समापन

युवा खिलाड़ियों को खेल उपकरण सहयोग एवं प्रोफेशनल प्रतिस्पर्धी वातावरण उपलब्ध कराने की पहल

गुमला : – गुमला जिला मुख्यालय में हिंडाल्को इंडस्ट्रीज लिमिटेड (माइंस डिवीजन, लोहरदगा) के प्रायोजन एवं जिला प्रशासन, गुमला के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में आयोजित तीन दिवसीय ‘स्मैश थॉन 2.0’ बैडमिंटन प्रतियोगिता का भव्य समापन इंडोर बैडमिंटन स्टेडियम, गुमला में संपन्न हुआ।

समापन समारोह में उपायुक्त दिलेश्वर महतो (आईएएस), उप विकास आयुक्त अनिमेष रंजन (आईएएस), वन प्रमंडल पदाधिकारी अहमद बिलाल अनवर (आईएफएस ), अपर समाहर्ता राजीव नीरज, भूमि सुधार उप समाहर्ता राजीव कुमार, सहित जिले के वरिष्ठ पदाधिकारी उपस्थित रहे। सभी पदाधिकारियों ने खिलाड़ियों का उत्साहवर्धन करते हुए विजेता एवं उपविजेता प्रतिभागियों को शुभकामनाएं प्रदान कीं।

इस अवसर पर उपायुक्त दिलेश्वर महतो ने कहा कि प्रतियोगिता के सफल आयोजन में गुमला डिस्ट्रिक्ट बैडमिंटन एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष शंकर राम, उपाध्यक्ष मोहर लाल उरांव, संयुक्त सचिव पवन कुमार तथा संजय प्रताप सिंह, तबरेज़ आलम, दीपक कुमार एवं एल.के. सुमन द्वारा महत्वपूर्ण सहयोग एवं तकनीकी मार्गदर्शन प्रदान किया गया। उन्होंने आईटी मैनेजर राजीव रोशन के मैच संचालन एवं प्रतियोगिता के सुचारू संचालन में महत्वपूर्ण योगदान की सराहना की।

उपकरण सहयोग एवं प्रोफेशनल प्रतिस्पर्धी वातावरण मुख्य उद्देश्य

‘स्मैश थॉन 2.0’ का प्रमुख उद्देश्य जिले के बालक एवं बालिका खिलाड़ियों को आवश्यक खेल उपकरण, शटलकॉक एवं खेल सामग्री उपलब्ध कराना तथा उन्हें प्रोफेशनल स्तर का प्रतिस्पर्धी वातावरण प्रदान करना है।

प्रतियोगिता के दौरान विशेष रूप से U -14 एवं U -17 बालक एवं बालिका वर्ग के खिलाड़ियों को प्रतिस्पर्धात्मक मैचों का अनुभव प्रदान किया गया। इससे युवा खिलाड़ियों को मैच प्रेशर, प्रतिस्पर्धी परिस्थितियों एवं वास्तविक टूर्नामेंट वातावरण में अपने खेल कौशल को परखने एवं निखारने का अवसर प्राप्त हुआ।

प्रतियोगिता में U-14 एवं U-17 बालक-बालिका वर्ग, U-30/ओपन, 30+, 50+ सुपर वेटरन्स तथा प्रशासनिक मैच सहित विभिन्न श्रेणियों में खिलाड़ियों ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया।

खिलाड़ियों को उपलब्ध कराए गए खेल उपकरण एवं शटलकॉक उनके आगामी जिला, राज्य एवं राष्ट्रीय स्तर की प्रतियोगिताओं की तैयारी में अत्यंत उपयोगी सिद्ध होंगे। इससे खिलाड़ियों को बेहतर अभ्यास का अवसर मिलेगा तथा वे अधिक आत्मविश्वास के साथ आगामी प्रतियोगिताओं में अपने प्रदर्शन को सुदृढ़ कर सकेंगे।

जिला प्रशासन का उद्देश्य है कि प्रतिभावान खिलाड़ियों को उन्नत प्रशिक्षण, आवश्यक खेल सामग्री एवं नियमित प्रतियोगिताओं के माध्यम से जिला एवं राज्य स्तर पर आगे बढ़ने के अवसर निरंतर उपलब्ध कराए जाएं।

प्रखंड स्तर पर भी आयोजित होंगी खेल प्रतियोगिताएं

जिला प्रशासन द्वारा भविष्य में प्रखंड स्तर पर भी बैडमिंटन एवं अन्य खेल प्रतियोगिताओं के आयोजन को प्रोत्साहित किया जाएगा। साथ ही खिलाड़ियों को आवश्यक खेल किट एवं उपकरण उपलब्ध कराने की दिशा में भी कार्य किया जाएगा, ताकि ग्रामीण एवं प्रखंड स्तर की प्रतिभाओं की पहचान कर उन्हें जिला एवं राज्य स्तर तक आगे बढ़ने का अवसर मिल सके.
