पत्रकार एकादश ने प्रशासन एकादश को हराया

गुमला के तेलंगा खड़िया स्टेडियम में स्वतंत्रता दिवस के अवसर पर पत्रकार एकादश और प्रशासन एकादश के बीच रोमांचक क्रिकेट मैच खेला गया। मुकाबले में पत्रकार एकादश ने शानदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए प्रशासन एकादश को पराजित कर जीत दर्ज की।

मैच में पत्रकार एकादश के कप्तान दुर्जय पासवान ने टॉस जीतकर पहले क्षेत्ररक्षण करने का फैसला लिया। पहले बल्लेबाजी करने उतरी प्रशासन एकादश की टीम ने निर्धारित 15 ओवर में 115 रन बनाए। प्रशासन की ओर से बल्लेबाजों ने उपयोगी पारियां खेलते हुए पत्रकार एकादश के सामने जीत के लिए 116 रनों का लक्ष्य रखा।

लक्ष्य का पीछा करने उतरी पत्रकार एकादश की टीम ने शुरुआत से ही आक्रामक बल्लेबाजी की। टीम के बल्लेबाजों ने शानदार तालमेल और संयम के साथ खेलते हुए 14 ओवर में ही लक्ष्य हासिल कर लिया। इस तरह पत्रकार एकादश ने मुकाबला एक ओवर शेष रहते अपने नाम कर लिया।

मैच में बेहतरीन प्रदर्शन करने वाले अंकित विश्वकर्मा को मैन ऑफ द मैच चुना गया। वहीं, शानदार क्षेत्ररक्षण के लिए डीडीसी अनिमेष कुमार को बेस्ट कैच तथा बेहतरीन गेंदबाजी के लिए एनडीसी ललन कुमार रजक को बेस्ट बॉलर का पुरस्कार दिया गया।

मैच के दौरान खिलाड़ियों का उत्साह देखते ही बना। मौके पर गुमला उपायुक्त एवं अपर समाहर्ता सहित जिले के कई अधिकारी और गणमान्य लोग मौजूद रहे। खेल के माध्यम से प्रशासन और पत्रकारों के बीच आपसी सौहार्द और बेहतर समन्वय का संदेश भी दिया गया।
