सरकारें देश में सबसे बड़ी मुकदमेबाज, मामलोँ को जानबूझ कर अटकाती है : CJI

विज्ञान भवन में हाईकोर्ट्स के चीफ जस्टिस एनवी रमना ने मुख्यमंत्रियों के संयुक्त सम्मेलन में सुप्रीम कोर्ट  सीजेआई ने इस मौके पर यह भी कहा कि सरकारें देश में सबसे बड़ी मुकदमेबाज है और 50 फीसदी से ज्यादा मामलों में पक्षकार है. सीजेआई ने लंबित मुकदमों का मामला उठाते हुए कहा कि सरकार सबसे बड़ी मुकदमेबाज है.  कई बार सरकार ही मामलो को जानबूझ कर अटकाती है. उन्होंने कहा कि नीति बनाना हमारा काम नहीं लेकिन कोई नागरिक इन मुद्दों को लेकर आता है तो हमें बताना पड़ता है. इसके अलावा सीजेआई ने हाईकोर्ट्स में अंग्रेजी के अलावा स्थानीय भाषाओं में भी सुनवाई की वकालत की है.

पीएम ने कहा-हमने सैकड़ों अप्रासंगिक कानूनों को खत्म करने की पहल की

पीएम ने कहा कि अच्छा हुआ कि ये मुद्दा सीजेआई ने ही उठाया और मीडिया को सुर्खियां मिलीं लेकिन उसमें समय लगेगा क्योंकि अर्जी डालने से लेकर फैसला आने तक ये काफी पेचीदा मामला है. पीएम ने यह भी कहा कि हमने सैकड़ों कानून जो अब प्रासंगिक नहीं हैं, उनको खत्म करने की पहल की थी लेकिन राज्यों ने अब तक सिर्फ 75 कानून ही निरस्त किए हैं. पीएम ने मुख्यमंत्रियों से आग्रह किया कि वो लोगों को ऐसे कानून के जाल से बाहर निकालें.

लीगल एजुकेशन अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर का हो: पीएम

प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने भी सीजेआई की इस मांग का समर्थन करते हुए कहा कि सामाजिक न्याय के लिए न्याय के तराजू तक जाने की जरूरत ही काफी नहीं, बल्कि भाषा भी अड़चन होती है. उन्होंने कहा, हमारे यहां सुप्रीम कोर्ट और हाईकोर्ट में कार्यवाही अंग्रेजी में होती है. अब कोर्ट्स में स्थानीय भाषा को प्रोत्साहन देने की जरूरत है. पीएम ने कहा कि इससे सामान्य नागरिक का न्याय में भरोसा बढ़ेगा. पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि तकनीकी और मेडिकल शिक्षा सामान्य भाषा में क्यों ना हो?  उन्होंने कहा कि युवाओं की क्षमता के विकास के लिए लीगल एजुकेशन अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर का होना चाहिए. इस दिशा में नए आयाम विकसित करने होंगे.
