अर्थशास्त्रविभाग में ‘मातृ-पितृ -शिक्षक मिलन समारोह

दिनांक : 26.08.23 को अर्थशास्त्र विभाग में ‘मातृ-पितृ – शिक्षक मिलन समारोह आयोजन किया गया
यह आयोजन सत्र 2021-23 के माता / पिता / अभिभावक हेतु किया गया था
उक्त आयोजन का प्रारंभ विभाग की सहायक प्राध्यापिका डॉ. इफ्शा खुर्शीद ने अपने संबोधन से किया जिसमें उन्होंने कहा कि माँ – बाप बच्चे को जीवन देते हैं तथा गुरु बच्चे को जीवन जीने की कला सीखाते सिखाते है अत: एक छात्र हेतु माता – पिता तथा गुरु तीनों ही अति महत्वपूर्ण होते हैं। तत्पश्चात् दीप प्रज्जवलित करते हुए ईश्वर को याद किया गया ।इस समारोह में अपनी गरीमामई उपस्थिति दे रहे सजल मुखर्जी (सेवानिकृत सह – प्राध्यापक) अपने संभाषण में कहा कि, विभाग 1992 से विद्यार्थियों
में गुणों के विकास हेतु प्रतिबद्ध है। यह विभाग अपने छात्रों के सर्वांगीण विकास हेतु हेतु हर संभव प्रयास करता है तथा छात्रों में चरित्र और योग्यता का निर्माण करने हेतु सम्मिलित है ।
कार्यक्रम में विश्वविद्यालय वित्त पदाधिकारी सुरेन्द्र प्रसाद कुशवाहा ने छात्रों के भविष्य निर्माण में शिक्षकों तथा अभिभावकों की भूमिका को रेखांकित किया तथा छात्रों में चरित्र के निर्माण प्रक्रिया को सर्वाधिक महत्वपूर्ण

गिरिडीह : किरायेदार द्वारा आय से अधिक संपति अर्जित करने का आरोप लगाए जाने के बाद जिले के डीआरडीए निदेशक आलोक कुमार के खिलाफ किरायेदार प्रेमजीत ने रांची के लालपुर थाने में केस दर्ज कराया है. वहीं मामला सामने आने के बाद संयुक्त सचिव शैल प्रभा कुजूर ने भी इसे गंभीरता से लिया और गिरिडीह डीसी नमन प्रियेश लकड़ा को निर्देश दिया है कि वो डीआरडीए निदेशक को शोकॉज कर उनका जवाब मांगे. मिली जानकारी के अनुसार डीसी की ओर से शनिवार को डीआरडीए निदेशक आलोक कुमार को शोकॉज मिला. लिहाजा, शोकॉज का जवाब देने की तैयारी में अब डीआरडीए निदेशक भी जुट गए है. संभावना जतायी गई कि डीआरडीए निदेशक सोमवार को अपना जवाब डीसी के जरिए संयुक्त सचिव को भेज सकते हैं.

निदेशक पर करोड़ों की संपत्ति अर्जित करने का आरोप

जानकारी के अनुसार रांची निवासी प्रेमजीत कुमार ने डीआरडीए निदेशक पर गंभीर आरोप लगाते हुए लालपुर थाने में आवेदन देकर आरोप लगाया कि उन्होंने अपने सरकारी पद का दुरुपयोग करते हुए करोड़ों की संपति अर्जित की है. इतना ही नहीं किरायेदार प्रेमजीत कुमार ने डीआरडीए निदेशक के पद का गलत इस्तेमाल करते हुए लालपुर थाने में उनके खिलाफ फर्जी केस तक करने का आरोप लगाया है।

जानिए डीआरडीए निदेशक का पक्ष

इधर डीसी द्वारा जारी शोकॉज और किरायेदार द्वारा आय से अधिक संपत्ति के मामले में डीआरडीए निदेशक आलोक कुमार ने कहा कि उन्हें उनके किरायेदार द्वारा सिर्फ परेशान किया जा रहा है, क्योंकि प्रेमजीत कुमार जब उनके मकान को किराये पर लिया था तो, कुछ महीनों तक किराया देते रहे लेकिन किराये और बिजली बिल का बकाया 9 लाख तक पहुंच गया और डीआरडीए निदेशक ने प्रेमजीत से अपना मकान खाली करा दिया तो, उन पर किरायेदार ने झूठा आरोप लगा दिया है, जबकि रांची का मकान उनके पिता के नाम पर है. अब अगर कोई संपत्ति है तो वो भी पुश्तैनी है. उनके द्वारा कोई संपत्ति नहीं अर्जित की गयी है. लिहाजा, वो भी चाहते हैं कि अब मामले की जांच राज्य सरकार एसीबी से कराएं. जिसमें वो बेदाग साबित हों. उन्होंने दावा करते हुए कहा कि डीआरडीए निदेशक ने कहा कि जब से वो सरकारी नौकरी आएं हैं, तब से वो बेदाग तरीके से अपनी नौकरी करते रहे हैं।

गिरिडीह : गिरिडीह पुलिस ने शनिवार को मकतपुर एसबीआई से रुपये निकाल कर घर लौट रहे मरकच्चो के दंपती से लूट मामले का उद्भेदन कर लिया है। शनिवार को प्रेसवार्ता के माध्यम से एसपी दीपक कुमार शर्मा और डीएसपी संजय राणा के साथ नगर थाना प्रभारी प्रशांत कुमार ने पूरे मामले की जानकारी दी। इस दौरान एसपी ने बताया कि शहर के नटराज चौक में हुए लूट मामले ने नगर थाना पुलिस ने दो अपराधी को दबोचा है। जबकि एक बाइक के साथ एक पैड मोबाइल और गाड़ी की डिक्की तोड़ने वाले औजार को भी बरामद किया है। दोनों अपराधियों के पास से पुलिस ने आठ हजार नगद बरामद किया है। दोनों के पास से जब्त बाइक बजाज पल्सर बाइक भी चोरी की है। इसी चोरी के बाइक से बीते 18 अगस्त को बिहार के कटिहार के कोढ़ा थाना इलाके के जुराबगंज निवासी सिंटू यादव और मनीष यादव ने मिलकर गिरिडीह लूट की घटना को अंजाम दिया था।

दोनों अपराधियों का इंटरस्टेट गिरोह

एसपी श्री शर्मा ने बताया कि दोनों बेहद शातिर अपराधी हैं। दोनों अपराधियों का गिरोह एक इंटरस्टेट गिरोह है। गिरोह में कई और भी अपराधी शामिल हैं, जिन्हें दबोचने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है। बताया कि गिरोह का कार्यक्षेत्र गिरिडीह के साथ-साथ देवघर समेत अन्य कई जिले हैं। बताया कि कटिहार के कोढ़ा थाना इलाके के इस गिरोह के कुछ अपराधी पहले भी गिरिडीह में कुछ घटनाओं में जेल जा चुके हैं। इसमें सिंटू यादव के भी शामिल होने की बात सामने आई है। लेकिन सिंटू यादव देश की राजधानी दिल्ली के बाराहिंदू राव थाना इलाके से जुड़े साल 2019 में एक आपराधिक घटना को अंजाम देने के आरोप में दिल्ली जेल में है।

बैंक ग्राहकों को ही अपना टारगेट बनाते थे अपराधी

पुलिस की मानें तो कटिहार के कोढ़ा थाना से जुड़े होने के कारण इस गिरोह की पहचान कोढ़ा गिरोह से हुई, लेकिन गिरिडीह समेत अन्य जिलों में इस गिरोह के अपराधी बैंक ग्राहकों को अपना टारगेट बनाते थे। ये सीसीटीवी फुटेज खंगालने और गिरफ्तारी के बाद पूछताछ के आधार पर सामने निकल कर आया है। बैंक में आने-  जानेवाले हर ग्राहकों पर इस गिरोह के अपराधी रेकी करते थे। रेकी सिर्फ एक दिन नही, बल्कि, लगातार चार पांच दिन किया करते। फिर जिस ग्राहक को टारगेट करना रहता। उसके पीछे बैंक से निकलने के बाद पड़ते और फिर जहा मौका मिलता, वहां उसे लूट कर फरार हो जाते। गिरफ्तारी के बाद पुलिस को यह भी जानकारी मिली है कि ये बैंक में किसी एक ग्राहक को अपना टारगेट नही बनाते थे। बल्कि, हर ग्राहकों पर इन अपराधियों की नजर होती थी।

डालटनगंज : झारखंड के पूर्व मंत्री के.एन. त्रिपाठी और कांग्रेस नेता मेदिनीराय मेडिकल कॉलेज एंड अस्पताल की लचर व्यवस्था के खिलाफ शनिवार को अस्पताल के समक्ष धरने पर बैठ गये. एक हार्ट अटैक से पीड़ित मरीज का इलाज सदर अस्पताल में चल रहा था. इसके बाद डॉक्टर ने उसे रिम्स रेफर कर दिया. लेकिन रात से ही उस मरीज को एंबुलेंस तक नसीब नहीं हुई और न ही मरीज को बेड मिला है. बॉक्सनुमा बेड बनाकर मरीज के परिजन उसको लिटाए हुए थे. अस्पताल में अव्यवस्था देख के.एन. त्रिपाठी ने कहा कि लचर व्यवस्था के कारण कई मरीजों की जान चली जाती है और आज भी इस व्यवस्था के कारण एक मरीज की जान जा सकती है. एंबुलेंस का इंतजार करता रहा, लेकिन एंबुलेंस नहीं आया. वहां डॉक्टर जो मौजूद हैं उसने भी ध्यान नहीं दिया. उन्होंने कहा कि यदि व्यवस्था ठीक नहीं होगी तो उग्र आंदोलन किया जाएगा. धरना पर बैठने की सूचना मिलते ही सिविल सर्जन अनिल कुमार सिंह और डॉ. आरके रंजन सदर अस्पताल पहुंचकर पूर्व मंत्री के.एन. त्रिपाठी से मुलाकात की. पूर्व मंत्री से समस्या जानने के बाद सीएस लापरवाही बरतने वाले डॉ. को अविलंब  निलंबित करने का आश्वासन दिया.

Himachal Pradesh Landslip: According to a forecast from the India Meteorological Department (IMD), heavy rain is predicted to continue over Himachal Pradesh today. Additionally, it states that Uttarakhand, east Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Bihar, Sikkim, Odisha, and Jharkhand should expect heavy rains.

 Police in Himachal Pradesh’s Solan district opted to restrict commercial vehicle travel on alternate routes during rush hours after the Baddi bridge collapsed. Following yet another downpour of torrential rain, the bridge fully collapsed at around 3 am on Friday.

In other news, the slope stability and slow enforcement of regulations issues that have been raised by numerous architects and engineering experts over the past few years have once again come into focus as a result of the destruction of dozens of buildings across Himachal Pradesh due to landslides and slope instability during the current monsoon season. The issue of safety with regard to construction activities in Shimla, the state of Himachal Pradesh as a whole, and even other hill stations like Mussoorie and Srinagar has come into focus in the last six years thanks to at least two thorough investigations.

Officials are concerned that some of the injured are still trapped under the rubble.

The heavy rains have also severely damaged a lot of the infrastructure. Around 400 routes in the hilly state had to be closed due to landslides, including National Highway 21 Mandi-Kullu via Pandoh Dam. Furthermore, Baddi’s connectivity to Haryana and Chandigarh was hampered by the collapse of a bridge due to the swollen Balad river.

Vehicle movement has been severely constrained in the state as usual, particularly in Shimla and Kullu where uprooted trees disrupted traffic. According to sources, numerous structures in the state capital also experienced cracking as a result of the deluge.

Till Friday (August 24–25), the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rains (64.5 mm–115.5 mm) in select locations in addition to mild to moderate precipitation over the majority of the state. Today (August 24), certain areas may also get extremely heavy downpours (115.6 mm-204.5 mm).

The National Media Centre in New Delhi hosted the announcement of the 69th National Film Awards recipients, showcasing accomplished people who have made noteworthy contributions to Indian cinema. These accolades, which honour quality and inventiveness in the film industry, are quite important. For “Pushpa,” Allu Arjun was named Best Actor, while “Gangubai Kathiawadi” and “Mimi” each won Best Actress honours for Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanon. “The Kashmir Files” got the Nargis Dutt Award for fostering national unity, while “The Nambi Effect” was recognised as the best feature film.

The first Best Feature Film winner was a Marathi film called “Shyamchi Aai,” however “Lagaan,” which received eight trophies in 2002, has won the most prizes in National Film prizes history. In addition to honouring local talent, the occasion highlights the top films in a variety of languages and bestows the coveted Dadasaheb Phalke Award for a lifetime of accomplishment. The superstar Rajinikanth won this unique honour the previous year.

Alia Bhatt is ecstatic right now. The actor, who has made a name for herself as one of India’s biggest stars, received the National Film Award for Best Actress on Thursday for portraying a brothel madam in Gangubai Kathaiwadi, the biographical crime drama film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The 69th National Film Awards were announced on Thursday in Delhi, and actor Pankaj Tripathi, who is currently enjoying positive reviews for his most recent film OMG 2, was honoured with the Best Supporting Actor prize for his performance in Mimi. The actor, who is still in mourning over the death of his father, dedicated his prize to him. In a statement, he said: “Unfortunately, this is a time of grief and mourning for me. He would have been quite pleased for me if Babuji had been present. He was quite proud and happy when I initially received the National Award mention.

On a Thursday, the 69th National Film Awards winners were revealed at the National Media Centre in New Delhi.   • On Saturday, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) women scientists who were working on the “Chandrayaan-3” project interacted with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who praised them for their crucial contribution to the successful conclusion of India’s first lunar landing mission.
  • On August 26, days after the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft made a successful landing on the moon, the Prime Minister travelled to Bengaluru to offer his congratulations to the ISRO crew.
  • PM Modi is seen in a video introducing himself to and conversing with female scientists at the ISRO Telemetry, Tracking and Command Network (ISTRAC) and sharing it on X (previously Twitter), according to news agency ANI. S Somanath, the director of ISRO, is seated next to the prime minister.
  • On Wednesday evening, India became the first nation to successfully deploy a lander on the unexplored lunar South Pole. (PM Modi’s visit to ISRO is LIVE)
  • On Saturday, PM Modi addressed the scientists gathered at the ISRO’s Telemetry Tracking and Command Network Mission Control Complex in Bengaluru. He noted that “Women scientists played a crucial part in the success of the Chandrayaan-3 mission. Future generations will be motivated to pursue science seriously and use it for the benefit of society by the “Shivkshakti” point (the location on the lunar South Pole where the “Vikram” lander touched down). The welfare of the people remains our top priority, Prime Minister Modi declared amid thunderous applause.
  • While giving an address at ISRO, PM Modi also emphasised the “crucial role” that women scientists played in the Chandrayaan-3 mission. “This mission’s female scientists have been instrumental in making it successful. This accomplishment just would not have been feasible without their assistance. Future generations will be inspired by them, he claimed.
  • In addition to this, PM Modi made a number of announcements, including renaming the location of Chandrayaan-3’s lunar landing site as “Tiranga Point.” He added that India had decided to give the location of the Moon’s Vikram lander’s crash on Chandrayaan-2 a name.
  • “You [the ISRO scientists] raised the nation to unprecedented heights. It was not a typical accomplishment, the prime minister noted.
  • “This trip highlights the effectiveness of our space research and programme. In his remarks at the ISRO’s Bengaluru headquarters, PM Modi also stated that “India is on the moon.”
  • The toughest problems the world suffers in the twenty-first century will have a solution thanks to the Bharat of today, said PM Modi.
  • Not only did everyone at the ISRO explode in raucous joy as our lander touched down on the lunar surface, but so did citizens throughout the nation and abroad. Who could ever forget that? he questioned.
  • “Some moments are too important to ever forget. One such occasion was the lunar landing, said PM Modi. PM Modi was welcomed warmly when he arrived at the ISRO headquarters earlier on Saturday. He greeted the scientific team working on the third lunar mission for his country and was photographed hugging ISRO director S. Somanath.
  • He lifted the sign “Jai Vigyan Jai Anusandhan (Glory to Science, Glory to Research)” as soon as he touched down at Bengaluru’s HAL airport.

At the Madurai Railway Junction, a massive fire starts aboard a train, killing 9 people.

  • At least 9 persons lost their lives and 20 others suffered critical injuries after a passenger train fire started inside the compartment on Saturday at the Madurai railway station in Tamil Nadu. The rescue efforts are currently under way.
  • There were 55 people on the affected coach, and six of the dead, according to IANS’ report, were from Uttar Pradesh. The people in a private party carriage ‘illegally smuggled’ a gas cylinder, according to a statement from Southern Railway, which started the fire in the train. When the firefighters from Madurai came on the spot, the fire was put out.
  • The party bus had left Lucknow on August 17 with plans to arrive in Chennai on Sunday and then travel back to Lucknow, according to the statement. When the fatal incident happened, the coach had been taken from the train and was being maintained at the Madurai Stabling Line.

Why did the fire start?

  • The fire started in the train coach when one of the passengers lit a gas cooker to brew coffee, according to Madurai District Collector MS Sangeetha. In a statement, Southern Railway’s Chief Public Relations Officer, B. Guganesan, claimed that the passengers’ unlawful smuggling of a gas cylinder was what started the fire. Any flammable items, such as petrol cylinders, are prohibited for passengers to transport.

  • “Some party members in the private party coach were utilising the illegally smuggled cooking gas cylinder unofficially to prepare tea/snacks while the coach was stabled/parked, which resulted in the fire in the stabled/parked coach. When the carriage caught fire, the majority of the passengers were able to exit. Prior to the coach being detached, a few passengers had already disembarked at the platform, according to the release.
  • The train was parked in a yard one km from the Madurai railway station when the disaster took place as passengers were getting ready to leave for a darshan at the Meenakshi temple. Many passengers had already left the train when it arrived at the Madurai train station.
  • The Kollam-Chennai Egmore Ananthapuri Express, Train Number 16824, was to bring the passengers’ “party coach” back to Chennai tomorrow. From Chennai, the “party coach” was to travel back to Lucknow.
  • A group of railway officials, including the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Additional Divisional Railway Manager (ADRM), and other divisional authorities, arrived at the scene of the accident to assess the situation.
  • The Railways Act of 1989’s sections 67, 164, and 165 make it illegal to transport combustible items such gas cylinders, crackers, acid, kerosene, petrol, thermic welding equipment, stoves, and explosives.
  • According to Souther Railway, the passengers of the private party coach had also signed a declaration in accordance with paragraph 9 of the railway manual stating that they would not be transporting any combustibles.
