हावड़ा: पश्चिम बंगाल में रामनवमी पर भड़के दंगे का गुनहगार बिहार के मुंगेर से पकड़ा गया.  अब सीसीटीवी फुटेज और दंगे से जुड़े वीडियो फोटो को खंगालते हुए पुलिस उपद्रवियों की धर- पकड़ में जुटी थी। इस कड़ी में हावड़ा पुलिस को एक बड़ी सफलता हाथ लगी। सोमवार रात बिहार के मुंगेर जिले में छापेमारी कर बंगाल पुलिस ने आरोपी को गिरफ्तार किया। आरोपी की पहचान सुमित शाह के रूप में हुई। वह हावड़ा का रहने वाला है। हिंसा वाले दिन वह शिवपुरी इलाके में फायरिंग और हथियार लहराने में शामिल था। रामनवमी जुलूस के दौरान हावड़ा में दंगा भड़काने वाले एक आरोपी को बंगाल पुलिस ने बिहार से गिरफ्तार किया है।

अपने दोस्त के घर में छुुुपा था शाह

बंगाल पुलिस के एक अधिकारी ने बताया कि पुलिस टीम ने बिहार के मुंगेर जिले से एक व्यक्ति को हावड़ा में रामनवमी के जुलूस के दौरान फायरिंग में शामिल होने के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया है। उन्होंने बताया कि मुंगेर जिले के कासिम बाजार थाना क्षेत्र के मकसपुर गांव में इंस्पेक्टर रैंक के अधिकारी के नेतृत्व में सात सदस्यीय टीम ने सोमवार रात छापेमारी की थी.आरोपी हावड़ा निवासी सुमित शाह ने अपने दोस्त के घर शरण ली थी। वह हावड़ा क्षेत्र के शिवपुर इलाके में फायरिंग और हथियार लहराने में शामिल था। आरोपी को गिरफ्तार करने के बाद अधिकारियों ने उसे जिला अदालत मुंगेर में पेश किया और ट्रांजिट रिमांड पर लिया।

मुंगेर के एसडीपीओ ने शाह को आज सुबह गिरफ्तार किया

आरोपी सुमित शाह की मुंगेर से गिरफ्तारी की पुष्टि स्थानीय एसडीपीओ ने भी की है। उस पर हावड़ा पुलिस स्टेशन में दंगा करने की संबंधित आईपीसी की धाराओं के तहत मामला दर्ज किया गया है। मालूम हो कि हावड़ा में पिछले हफ्ते रामनवमी के दौरान भारी हिंसा देखने को मिली थी। पश्चिम बंगाल के अलावा बिहार के सासाराम और बिहारशरीफ में भी हिंसा हुई। मुंगेर के एसडीपीओ राजेश कुमार ने बताया कि आरोपी सुमित को आज सुबह गिरफ्तार किया गया है। वह कासिम बाजार थाने इलाके के मकससपुर में अपने रिश्तेदार के यहां छिपा था। वहीं से इसको गिरफ्तार किया गया है।
