मोदी सरनेम केस में अपील याचिका खारिज, राहुल गांधी जेल जाएं या फिर हाईकोर्ट में अपील करें…!

सूरत : मोदी सरनेम केस में सूरत की सेशंस कोर्ट ने कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी की अपील खारिज कर दी. सूरत कोर्ट के फैसले से कांग्रेसियों में मायूसी छा गई. अब राहुल गांधी के पास दो ही सूरत है- राहुल गांधी हाईकोर्ट में अपील करें या जेल जाएं. क्योंकि अगर इस मामले में वे आगे अपील नहीं करते हैं तो, उन्हें जेल जाना होगा। पर उम्मीद है कि, राहुल गांधी हाईकोर्ट में अपील करेंगे। कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी की सजा पर रोक लगाने की याचिका पर सुनवाई पूरी हो गई थी। इस अहम केस में सूरत सेशंस कोर्ट ने गुरुवार को फैसला सुना दिया। मानहानि केस में दोषी ठहराए जाने के खिलाफ राहुल की याचिका खारिज हो गई। सूरत सेशंस कोर्ट के जज ने सिर्फ एक शब्द में मामला खत्म कर दिया। जज ने कहा- डिसमिस।

राहुल गांधी को 23 मार्च को दोषी ठहराया गया था

मोदी सरनेम मामले में कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी को 23 मार्च को दोषी ठहराया गया था और उन्हें दो साल जेल की सजा सुनाई गई थी। जिसके तुरंत बाद उन्हें लोकसभा से अयोग्य घोषित कर दिया गया था। इसके बाद राहुल गांधी ने सूरत की ट्रायल कोर्ट के खिलाफ 3 अप्रैल को सूरत की सेशंस कोर्ट में एक मुख्य याचिका और दो आवेदन दायर किए थे। सूरत की सेशंस कोर्ट में राहुल गांधी की अपील पर तुरंत राहत मिल गई थी. बता दें कि भाजपा विधायक और गुजरात के पूर्व मंत्री पूर्णेश मोदी ने राहुल गांधी के खिलाफ मानहानि का मामला दर्ज कराया था। सजा सुनाने के 11 दिन बाद राहुल ने सूरत कोर्ट में जमानत और सजा माफी के लिए याचिका लगाई थी।
