गिरिडीह में मना राष्ट्रीय कृमि मुक्ति दिवस: कस्तूरबा गांधी बालिका स्कूल में CS ने कृमि नियंत्रण की दवाई खिलाई

गिरिडीह : कस्तूरबा गांधी बालिका विद्यालय में गुरुवार को सिविल सर्जन व अन्य अतिथियों ने राष्ट्रीय कृमि मुक्ति दिवस का उद्घाटन किया गया। इस दौरान 1-19 वर्ष के सभी बच्चों को अल्बेंडाजोल की दवा खिलाई गई। मौके पर उपस्थित सिविल सर्जन ने कहा कि स्कूलों और आंगनबाड़ी केन्द्रों पर 1-19 वर्ष के सभी बच्चों को कृमि नियंत्रण की दवाई खिलाई जा रही है।

CS ने सभी से सहयोग की अपील की

उन्होंने कहा कि इस कार्यक्रम को सफल बनाने के लिए सभी को सहयोग की अपील की है। अधिक से अधिक बच्चों को दवा को सेवन कराया जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि बच्चों की आंतों में परजीवी होने के कारण वह उनके खराब शारीरिक और मानसिक विकास, एनीमिया और कुपोषण की स्थिति को पैदा करते हैं जो उन्हें लंबे समय की परेशानियों से ग्रसित कर सकता है। जिसकी रोकथाम और निपटारे के लिए कृमि मुक्ति दिवस मनाया जाता है।

25 अप्रैल को कृमि मुक्ति दिवस पर दवा खिलाई जायेगी

सिविल सर्जन ने कहा कि स्कूल न जाने वाले बच्चों को आंगनबाड़ी कार्यकर्ता द्वारा आंगनबाड़ी केन्द्रों में दवाई खिलाई जाएगी। जो बच्चे राष्ट्रीय कृमि मुक्ति दिवस पर किसी कारण से दवा नहीं खा पाते हैं, उन्हें 25 अप्रैल कृमि मुक्ति दिवस को दवाई खिलाई जायेगी। ताकि यह सुनिश्चित किया जा सके कि कोई बच्चा छूट न जाए। एल्बेंडाजोल देने के साथ-साथ साफ-सफाई, शौचालयों के उपयोग, जूते/चप्पल पहनने, हाथ धोने आदि के संदर्भ में व्यवहार में बदलाव भी पुन: संक्रमण की घटनाओं को कम करने के लिए महत्वपूर्ण है। मौके पर सिविल सर्जन, जिला शिक्षा अधीक्षक, डीआरसीएचओ, डीपीएम, एनएचएम, स्वास्थ्य विभाग के अधिकारी व कर्मी उपस्थित थे।
