रांची, झारखंड – दिनदहाड़े बाइक लूटे जाने के बाद रांची शहर निवासी एक व्यक्ति सदमे में है. यह घटना 27 अप्रैल, 2023 को शाम करीब 4:00 बजे हुई और कैमरे में कैद हो गई। फुटेज में एक होंडा शाइन बाइक पर दो लोगों को मास्टर-चाबी जैसी किसी चीज से ताला तोड़ते हुए और उसके साथ एक सड़क पर भागते हुए देखा जा सकता है, जहां बाइक का मालिक बाइक के पीछे भाग रहा था, जबकि चोर उसके साथ भाग रहा था। बाइक सड़क के गलत साइड में थी, वह भाग्यशाली था कि वह पकड़ा नहीं गया क्योंकि यह सिर्फ 2 सेकंड की बात थी।

घटना के तुरंत बाद बाइक के मालिक आशीष कुमार ने घटना की सूचना पुलिस को दी. श्री आशीष के अनुसार उन्होंने शहर के व्यस्त बाजार क्षेत्र (पुरुलिया रोड) में लाइब्रेरी के बाहर अपनी बाइक खड़ी की थी और बमुश्किल 2 मिनट के लिए अपने एक दोस्त से मिलने अंदर गए थे, बाहर निकलते समय उन्होंने बाइक पर किसी को देखा, उन्होंने तुरंत इस दृश्य को भांप लिया और उसका पीछा करना शुरू कर दिया, क्योंकि वह एक लैपटॉप ले जा रहा था और उसका हेलमेट लगा हुआ था, चोर बाइक लेकर भाग गया।

इस घटना ने शहर में वाहनों की सुरक्षा को लेकर चिंता बढ़ा दी है, कई निवासियों ने बाइक चोरी की बढ़ती घटनाओं पर निराशा और गुस्सा व्यक्त किया है। श्री आशीष, जो रांची स्थित एक स्टार्टअप 366pi प्रौद्योगिकियों के कर्मचारी हैं, कहते हैं कि उनकी बाइक के खो जाने से कार्यस्थल पर आने-जाने की उनकी क्षमता पर गंभीर प्रभाव पड़ा है।

पुलिस ने चोरी का मामला दर्ज कर लिया है और फिलहाल मामले की जांच कर रही है। उन्होंने जनता से घटना के बारे में किसी भी जानकारी के साथ आगे आने की भी अपील की है। पुलिस ने निवासियों को यह भी आश्वासन दिया है कि वे शहर में वाहनों की सुरक्षा में सुधार के लिए कदम उठा रहे हैं, जिसमें गश्त बढ़ाना और प्रमुख क्षेत्रों में सीसीटीवी कैमरे लगाना शामिल है, पुलिस के अनुसार वर्तमान में उनके लिए चोर को ट्रैक करना मुश्किल है क्योंकि कैमरे घटना के वक्त ट्रैफिक सिग्नल में लगे सिग्नल काम नहीं कर रहे थे।

Ranchi – Bike robbery in broad daylight, incident captured in CCTV camera

Ranchi, Jharkhand – A resident of Ranchi city was left distraught after his bike was looted in broad daylight. The incident occurred on April 27th, 2023, at around 4;00 pm and was caught on camera. The footage shows two people coming on a Honda Shine bike with, breaking the lock with something like a master-key, and riding away with it on a street chase where the owner of the bike was running behind the bike while the thief was running with the bike in the wrong side of the road, he got lucky that he was not caught as it was just a matter of 2 seconds.

The owner of the bike, identified as Ashish Kumar, reported the incident to the police immediately after the incident. According to Mr.Ashish, he had parked his bike outside the library in the busy market area of the city (Purulia road) and went inside to meet a friend for barely 2 minutes, while coming out he noticed someone on the bike, he immediately sensed the scene and started chasing him, because he was carrying a laptop and had his helmet on, the thief got away with the bike.

The incident has raised concerns about the safety of vehicles in the city, with many residents expressing their frustration and anger over the rising incidents of bike thefts. Mr. Ashish, who is an employee of a Ranchi based startup 366pi technologies, says that the loss of his bike has severely impacted his ability to commute to his workplace.

The police have registered a case of theft and are currently investigating the matter. They have also appealed to the public to come forward with any information about the incident.
