आखिर साक्षी मलिक ने कुश्ती छोड़ने का क्यों किया ऐलान…?

नई दिल्ली : भारत को ओलंपिक में मेडल दिला चुकीं साक्षी मलिक ने कुश्ती छोड़ने का ऐलान किया है. साक्षी मलिक समेत कई पहलवानों ने गुरुवार को प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस के दौरान साक्षी मलिक रो पड़ीं. साक्षी मलिक ने कहा कि मैं एक बात कहना चाहती हूं. लड़ाई लड़ी और पूरे दिल से लड़ी. लेकिन अगर प्रेसिडेंट बृजभूषण सिंह जैसा आदमी ही रहता है, जो उसका सहयोगी है, उसका बिजनेस पार्टनर है, वो अगर इस फेडरेशन में रहेगा तो मैं अपनी कुश्ती को त्यागती हूं. मैं आज के बाद कभी भी वहां नहीं दिखूंगी. सभी देशवासियों का धन्यवाद, जिन्होंने आज तक मुझे सपोर्ट किया और मुझे इस मुकाम तक पहुंचाया.

बृजभूषण शरण सिंह का करीबी है संजय सिंह

दुनिया भर में देश का मान बढ़ाने वाली साक्षी मलिक ने यह ऐलान संजय सिंह के भारतीय कुश्ती महासंघ के अध्यक्ष चुने जाने के बाद किया है. संजय सिंह को भारतीय कुश्ती महासंघ के पूर्व अध्यक्ष बृजभूषण शरण सिंह का करीबी माना जाता है. भाजपा सांसद बृजभूषण शरण सिंह पर यौन उत्पीड़न के आरोप लगे थे. इसके बाद साक्षी मलिक, विनेश फोगाट, बजरंग पूनिया की अगुवाई में कई पहलवानों ने करीब डेढ़ महीने तक जंतर-मंतर पर धरना दिया था. इसके बाद बृजभूषण शरण सिंह ने रेसलिंग फेडरेशन ऑफ इंडिया की कमेटी भंग कर दी थी.
