पोलिंग पार्टियों को दिया गया ईवीएम/ वीवीपीएटी का प्रशिक्षण

गुमला: आगमी लोकसभा आम चुनाव को लेकर जिले भर के लगभग 5000 पोलिंग पार्टी व मतदान कर्मियों के पहले चरण का प्रशिक्षण कार्य 9 मार्च से शुरू हो गया था। 15 मार्च तक महिला महाविद्यालय पुग्गू में आयोजित होने वाले प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम में अब तक 2500 से अधिक मतदान कर्मियों को कार्मिक कोषांग के कर्मियों के द्वारा ईवीएम/ वीवीपीएटी एवं चुनाव से जुड़ी अन्य महत्वपूर्ण बिंदुओं पर प्रशिक्षण दिया गया।वहीं आज आयोजित हुए प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम में लगभग 950 से अधिक कर्मियों को प्रशिक्षण दिया गया। प्रशिक्षण के दौरान प्रशिक्षकों ने मतदान से लेकर मतगणना कार्य के दौरान की जाने वाली गतिविधयों के साथ-साथ ईवीएम मशीन और वीपीपैट के इस्तेमाल के बारे में बताया गया। प्रशिक्षण शिविर में प्रशिक्षणार्थियों को मास्टर ट्रेनर ने मतदान के दौरान आने वाली परेशानियां एवं उससे निपटने के उपाय के संबंध में जानकारी दी गई।

मास्टर ट्रेनर ने इवीएम के संचालन और कनेक्शन आदि के बारे में भी विस्तार से बताया। ईवीएम के दो पार्ट बैलेट यूनिट और कंट्रोल यूनिट के बारे में बारिकी से जानकारी दी गयी तथा उसके उपयोग की विधि भी बताई गई।

इधर वीवीपैट का उपयोग पहली बार सभी मतदान केंद्र में होना है। ट्रेनर ने वीवीपैट के उपयोग के बारे में जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि यह मशीन मतदाता को उसके द्वारा दिए गए वोट की जानकारी देगा। मतदाता ने किसे वोट डाला है उसका चुनाव निशान वीवीपैट के स्क्रीन पर दिखाई देगा। वोट डालने के बाद मशीन से पर्ची भी निकलेगी जो मतदाता को उसके मतदान की सबूत देगा। वीवीपैट बैलेट यूनिट से जुड़ा रहेगा जिसका कंट्रोल पीठासीन पदाधिकारी के पास रहेगा। ट्रेनर ने उसके कनेक्शन आदि के बारे में भी बताया। वहीं इस दौरान संबंधित कर्मियों को प्रपत्र भरने आदि के संबंध में भी जानकारी दी गई। किस प्रपत्र को कैसे भरना है तथा उसे कैसे सील करना है, इस संबंध में ट्रेनर ने विस्तार से जानकारी दी।
