अंतरराष्ट्रीय पैरा बैडमिंटन खिलाड़ी प्रशांत कुमार सिन्हा की हत्या कर उसके शव को छड़वा डैम में फेंक दिया गया था।

डैम स्थित पुल के नीचे से शनिवार को उसका शव बरामद हुआ।पुलिस ने इस मामले में उनकी प्रेमिका रही हजारीबाग के न्यू एरिया निवासी काजल सिन्हा और उसके दोस्त रौनक कुमार को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। युवती की निशानदेही पर शनिवार को प्लास्टिक की बोरी में सड़ी-गली अवस्था में उसकी लाश मिली। जमशेदपुर निवासी प्रशांत 11 मार्च से लापता थे। पुलिस के मुताबिक पूछताछ में काजल ने बताया कि उसकी प्रशांत से 2019 से दोस्ती थी। प्रशांत दिव्यांग था। उसकी सिर्फ पैसों के कारण दोस्ती थी। लेकिन प्रशांत उससे सच्चा प्यार करने लगा था।

वह अलग होना चाहती थी, लेकिन प्रशांत को यह मंजूरी नहीं था। दोस्ती तोड़ने पर वह फोटो व वीडियो वायरल करने की धमकी दे रहा था।इससे तंग आकर उसने प्रशांत को शहर के शहीद निर्मल महतो पार्क बुलाया। दूसरे दिन देवघर जाने का प्लान बनाते हुए रात में रौनक की खटाल में रुक गया। वहां इसने रौनक के साथ मिलकर गला घोंटकर उसकी हत्या कर दी। फिर रात में प्लास्टिक की बोरी में शव भरकर स्कूटी से छड़वा डैम गए और पुल से नीचे फेंक दिया।
